We had a night out in DC and chose not to drink and drive, so we booked and paid for a room ahead of time. 'This is a gorgeous hotel converted from the famous Riggs National Bank of Washington DC. It is elegant, comfortable and accomodating. The food at Cafe Rigg (we had breakfast) was superb. The hotel is close to Metro (Gallery Place), museums and theatres as well aas several really nice restaurants. We will stay here whenever we come to downtown DC.'

'The room and kitchen are large enough to fit 3 people. The view over the city was good. We were offered free drinks and a buffet on some nights. Breakfast included. Washer/dryer included. Great for families. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage of the hotel is the distance to downtown. '
