The room was very dirty the staff was not helpful the ceiling sounded like it was going to break above us you could hear everything! There were homeless men walking the halls. Rust and mold on the walls in the room and bathroom! So unsanitary!

I found mold in my room. Had to switch and received a small discount on my room afterwards. They are not going to fix the mold and plan to just bleach it they they said. No one speaks English and there’s no breakfast. Pretty much the worst place to stay.

Location and neighborhood is good. However, the property is minimally maintained. Room was small, sofa bed was very lumpy, shower took forever to drain and bathroom exhaust did not work. Breakfast was nothing as advertised in online picture, it comprised of a brown bag with water bottle, granola bar and a danish - both edible items were old.

Staff is amazing!!! The place needs a good update! The room was always hot and muggy at entry even when it was 50 degrees outside. Condensation on the walls. Room smelled funky, mold on the bathroom walls. Paint was chipped and peeling. The breakfast that was pictured on the album was not the breakfast that was there the weekend my family stayed. It was a small pastry, granola bar and small juice in a brown paper bag. Staircases smell like urine. Parking was very compact and rare.

It was ok for our impromptu visit to Encinitas, however the 2nd night was bit unsettling, with a drunk guy knocking on our door in the middle of the night 3 different times, I would suggest night Security at best.

The photos are deceiving. The decor is tired and could use updating. I was there for two nights and the room was not serviced or cleaned after the first night. The grab and go breakfast was coffee and a stale refrigerated pastry that was not edible. There is a fee to use the safe in the room.
