Plantation Beach Cottage

De PBC is een betoverend strandhuisje in tropische plantage-stijl met een oppervlakte van 1.000 vierkante voet, gelegen in een weelderig tropisch palmbos van 10.000 vierkante meter en heeft een zeldzame verificatie door de originele VRBO-beer als een Top 1% -vermelding! Er zijn meer dan 200 palmboomstammen die gefilterde schaduw en tropische sfeer bieden, geaccentueerd door de lichte zeebries! Het hele pand is ontworpen met veel aandacht voor detail en is ingericht met 100% Bali geïmporteerde Indonesische meubels. De PBC is gevuld met alles wat u bij u thuis zou verwachten! Plafonds met groot licht, ongelooflijke moderne maar subtiele indirecte verlichting, veel natuurlijke dagverlichting van de zes dakramen, geweldig professioneel kookgerei en luxe beddengoed!

Wat een fantastische kustgemeenschap en thuis om te genieten van de buitenlevensstijl in de kust van Zuid-Californië! Er zijn drie woonruimtes in de buitenlucht die geweldige toevluchtsoorden en meesleepmogelijkheden bieden. Het houtvuur buiten is omgeven door diepe zitplaatsen die de perfecte tuinhaard in de tuin creëren. Het terras bij de open haard biedt een rustige koffietent bij zonsopgang of een romantische dinerervaring bij de open haard. Zink weg in de diepe, volledig natuurlijke cederhouten hot tub of geef u over aan het authentieke, handgemaakte Palapa-bedgedeelte voor een siësta. Geniet ervan! Deze gebieden bieden voldoende keuzes om bij uw stemming te passen en u weg te nemen van uw dagelijks leven!

Dit is een ideale ontsnapping voor 2-3 personen (of 2 +/- 2 kinderen) op zoek naar een resortresort van hoge kwaliteit op een persoonlijke niet-hotelschaal op de beste locaties! De huiswebsite heeft ook veel links en details over lokale activiteiten! Loop naar alle lokale restaurants en stranden of pak de originele Schwinn beach cruiser fietsen uit de jaren 70 voor een lokale draai langs het strand of naar een lokale plek. Probeer lang aan boord te gaan op een van de surfplanken of pak de strandspullen en raak het zand! Alles wat je nodig hebt, wacht op je om binnen te lopen en je meteen thuis te voelen! Je bent een lokale inwoner!

We hebben veel vrienden die graag herhaaldelijk op bezoek komen! Like no other!!

From the minute you step through the gate into your private oasis, you are immediately “home”. Eric has poured so much love and thoughtful design into every square inch of this property. Easy access to the freeway and downtown. We spent ever single morning and afternoon on one of the patios drinking coffee or sipping wine. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful you never want to leave. Trust me! And for those concerned about the owner living on property-it’s all what you make of it. They are so helpful and friendly or will complete leave you to your day if that’s what you choose. Not intrusive at all. You will love it here. Trust me!!

Perfect location & amazing spot

This was a 10/10! Honestly, the cleanest and most well equipped rental I’ve been to. The hosts are wonderful. They were accommodating and very communicative. The house was amazing. Perfect location, walkable to the beach and main strip. The space itself is beautiful! Bright and airy. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The kitchen is stocked for serious cooking, there are plenty of towels, bathrobes, beach gear and extra blankets. And of course the outdoor space was incredible. We traveled with our baby and loved being able to have outdoor space to relax after her early bedtime. Highly recommend. We’ll be back and hope to use the tiki hot tub next time!

Paradise

My husband and I vacation on Encinitas often and this was our first stay at Eric’s place. We loved it and plan to return! Well appointed and cozy! We didn’t need to bring anything and the place was very comfortable and clean. Eric was very responsive to any questions we had and told us he has plans this year to add a few more features to the home. This “bungalow” is a perfect space for a couple.Thank you so much!

So relaxing.

This was our second time to stay at Eric’s Palm tree oasis. We are so comfortable there, feel so relaxed, and love the vibe. I made sure to use the patios more this time. At night, we lit the awesome fireplace in the living room. He made some nice updates with the surround sound and ambiance.

The Plantation Beach Cottage

The PBC was absolutely adorable! Perfect for 2 people. Everything was very clean, and the home had most everything you would need for a stay in Encinitas. The kitchen was well stocked. The grounds are amazing! I especially loved the outdoor fireplace in the front yard, I used that all of the time. It has a gas start and then the super dry wood took off immediately. I would read my book in front of it daily. Parking was easy, and always available on the street or in the grass driveway. I highly recommend the place!!!

Slightly disappointed

While Eric the owner is very nice, the listing is not entirely accurate. The owner lives in the guest house behind the home you are renting. You will hear water running through the pipes when you are not using any water. The bedroom is so bright at night I found it hard to sleep although the bed was comfortable. Location is great. VRBO should require that it be disclosed about the owner living on the property. I traveled alone but if i would have been with my family i would have been even more disappointed.

Slow down and wnjoy

The hosue is as beautiful as it looks online. Sunlight streams through in every room. The outdoor space is nothing short of magical. There are many ways you can enjoy the space. We used the outdoor hot tub which was fun and the fireplaces/tiki torches made the experience feel like you’re in a different world. Downtown Encinitas is walkable and so close to the highway to explore the rest of San Diego. Kitchen was well stocked and chef grade appliances and pans. Loved our stay and highly recommend!

Beautiful Relaxing House in Amazing location

Loved everything about our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped/stocked for cooking although we chose to frequent the wonderful restaurants just around the corner. The yard and fireplace (although we didn’t have a fire) were so quaint. Inside common spaces were just as relaxing. Bed was comfy and there was plenty of closet space to unpack (which I love to do when staying for more than a couple days). Not to mention host was incredibly responsive and accommodating! Would definitely stay here again and again.

Great every time!

We love staying at Eric's PBC - The whole vibe of the place makes you relax instantly. It's full of light, even on cloudy days. He has stocked the kitchen with everything you need and more. All appliances are fabulous and everything is immaculately clean! Laundry right outside the back door. Juan the beautiful black lab is always ready with a welcome :) Neighborhood is quiet and convenient to everything. Thank you Eric

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Pacific Palm Grove! The cottage and grounds were just beautiful...so well-designed, well-equipped and comfortable. And we so enjoyed walking in the historic neighborhood..such an eclectic array of homes with pretty gardens and foliage. Gorgeous beaches nearby too, and a lovely botanic garden. Great restaurants and cute shops in the area. Our host, Eric, was incredibly helpful and nice. We'd go back in a minute!

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband and I were very impressed with the cottage and felt extremely comfortable there, in fact we are already planning our return visit. The space was perfect for the 2 of us, but we may have felt crowded bringing the kids. The kitchen was top notch and Eric had 2 grills plus front yard and backyard seating/visiting areas. The town of Encinitas was so close, and we had a great time exploring the hangouts. Next visit needs to be a little longer!!

We loved our stay, beginning to end! Our flight was canceled & Eric was kind & gracious enough to work with us to extend our stay by 2 days. The weather started out a little gloomy & chilly so we didn't get to use the outdoor spaces enough, but certainly will do next time. The shower is extra special & invigorating & the bed is super comfortable & the area was very quiet. I'm an insomniac & still managed to get some sleep here. The entire space was just lovely & we are already thinking about a trip back. Loved Encinitas, & Loved this little slice of paradise. Thank You Eric, Anne & Jaun!

Mother's Day Weekend Stay

Great time. Great place. Great location. Whether you are out of town checking out San Diego or you live in the city and need a staycation...this is an excellent option. My family of 4 had a great time hanging at the house and it is an excellent base of operation for exploring the beach communities. We will be back.

A Perfect Retreat

Every few years I take a personal retreat for a time of solitude, reflection & prayer. I had saved this property in my VRBO sometime ago, and was so grateful to have finally enjoyed it! The home was clean, charming and LOADED with amenities! Location is perfect, as was the lush surroundings & wonderfully place skylights! One little perk worth mentioning, and to my great delight, is the water pressure in the shower, the heater within the shower room & the hot water that was plentiful! Maybe seems an odd detail to highlight, but not once you experience it! :) I’m so thankful for my time away from home, to enjoy in this beautiful getaway and getting the perfect space and time within luxury that I was hoping for! Thank you!
