Not a lot of curb appeal, but a great place to stay if you’re looking for just the basics and a place to sleep after being out all day. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen have been recently updated. Plenty of towels. Host provided basic shampoo, conditioner, and soaps in every bathroom, which is a big plus for a quick trip. Conveniently located (15 minute drive to just about anything.)Decorating is minimal—bedrooms have only beds and side tables but no dressers. Kitchen is not equipped for a large amount of cooking. Water heater needs updating, as my family of five had to stagger showers just to have hot water for basic, quick showers. And this house definitely does NOT sleep eleven, unless several people’s sleep on floors. The upstairs “futons” were just pillows on the floor, but both the second and third bedrooms had twin trundle beds under the queens.“Game room” has a pool table/air hockey/ ping pong combo that my kids really appreciated. Other than a checkers/chess set and a game of monopoly, that’s all that was there.I would not recommend this for a long stay, a big group, or anyone looking to spend lots of time hanging out at home. But if you need a comfortable, basic place to stay while you are out all day, this could be a good fit for you.
