'The room is definitely aged but considering the price I paid no big deal. It was all clean but you can tell there are things that need to be fixed or updated. The staff was SUPER friendly!! Double the price of other top rated Topeka hotels, rooms are clean but very outdated, wallpaper peeling off walls, bathtub old/stained. The rooms all being open to the center bar area makes it very noisy, paper thin walls, you could hear everything. 'This was the best hotel of my recent week-long road trip across the country. It was clean, as Holiday Inns consistently are. I appreciated the larger sized refrigerator with a freezer section in the room and the included toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. 'Our room was great! However, the hot tub water was green with brown ring around tub! The room was clean and nice! But they definitely need to fix this place up! Front doors of hotel left open day and night! Needs a paint job badly and fixing up! The complimentary breakfast was not very good! Limited choices! 'I booked this hotel specifically to use the outdoor pool. The pool was empty and full of trash. The gym was tiny and not useful. The reins are great and the property is nice. But I was disappointed about the pool and gym. The web ad had pictures of the pool. I felt lied to.'
