'Wonderful location.Bothy was very well equipped .Great to be able to sit out side on the decking having a coffee and looking on to the loch where I saw a family of seals most days.At night it was great to have a very comfortable bed to sleep in and in the morning have a refreshing in the spacious shower.The family who own the bothy also provided an electric fan because the weather was very hot .Looking forward to going back sometime because it is such a beautiful spot.'

'We extended our stay in Melfort village and were rewarded with beautiful weather. Upper Cooperage is a lovely comfortable apartment which now has an ensuite shower room as well as main bathroom. Everything we need is provided and the village is so peaceful and relaxing. All the staff are welcoming & helpful & the Monday music night was great fun. Recommend a stay here.'

'Excellent location, the hot tub was extremely welcome, the view was unbeatable. Food at the restaurant was delicious! Lodge had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t get any communication prior to arriving, the directions in Apple Maps took us to completely the wrong place. No email from Vrbo as I was told to expect, we took a chance and drove a little further and found the location. Use Google Maps in this area!'

'Couldn’t fault it.Great attention to detail, lovely little finishing touches made the stay even better,Great TV with Netflix, Prime etc, just in case it rains.Really great Tassimo coffee machine,My wife said it was the comfiest bed she’d EVER slept in when away in the UK.Great base to explore the surrounding areas.We even had one day of amazing sunshine in the first week of March.Ross(and Dorothy) are great hosts.Would thoroughly recommend'

'What a find! This little hoos on a loch with a hot tub was cosy and perfect as a base for our Glencoe hikes. We had evening and morning hot tubs and loved watching the weather come over. The restaurant next door was excellent and the hosts helpful and friendly. Was hard to leave!'

'An excellent discovery of the Melfort Village. Our cottage was perfect in every way. Clean and very cosy with all the essentials. The location is really good as if is slightly raised over the village and the view from the main area and master bedroom is stunning. You can see over the villages and through the lake. Our kids were very happy to play in front of the house too. We have stayed in late October but otherwise the patio table would be a perfect place to have your morning coffee ☕️ ! There...
