'Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Stayed here to go to scafell pike which was around 25 minutes drive away. Also a beach around 10 minutes drive away. Hotel has a large car park, great outdoor space to sit as well. Only down side was we went to pool room and it was locked, got the staff to open it and got change for the table from the bar. Just as we were going to start playing noticed one cue was broken in half and the other the tip was missing. Dart board not in the best condition....

'I stayed in the Helm Crag room which has fantastic views of the surrounding hills. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower superb. The whole room is immaculate and super clean. 'Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.'

'Ik heb een erg aangenaam verblijf van enkele dagen gehad in YHA Langdale. Vriendelijk personeel, goed uitgeruste keuken, twee prettige zitkamers, schone kamers en badkamers. Het enige mogelijke minpunt is de locatie: ontzettend mooi, maar enigszins afgelegen als je niet met de auto komt. Maar als je in goede conditie bent is alles lopend bereikbaar. '
