'This property has a beautiful panoramic & breathtaking view of the ocean and St. Thomas Bay. It is close to downtown, and simply beautiful. The rooms are simply appointed and very clean. Libby is an excellent host, making guests feel like you're visiting their home. You'll be well taken care of at Island View Guesthouse. Delicious breakfasts also. '

Our only complaint was that our room (The Hansen, a king suite room) was right next to the staff laundry room. The door was always open and we’d have to be careful opening our door, and staff would often be talking and hanging out right outside our door. 'The property was clean comfortable. It reminded me of a friendly hometown feel. I loved its location because we had easy access to Virgin island breakfasts of pates and Johnny cake and cheese as well as bush tea and coffee. Delicious!!! I would recommend this location to everyone!! '

'From the Climate Science Guy dot com:))) The bay is warm and awesome, the pool is clean and awesome, taxis charge per person each direction. A food truck is inexpensive down the street (10 min walk). 5 min walk from airport is the Lindbergh. Walk on beach to Emerald hotel 10 Heavenly, beautiful minutes. Dominos delivers and there’s a grocery store called Pueblo $10 per direction taxi'

'During the initial stages of Hurricane Erin, the staff remained calm and showed such commitment to the safety and well-being of the guests. The entire staff in the Frenchmans Roast cafe deserve a round of applause. They are some of the hardest working people I have ever met. Bernardo is awesome and all the ladies working the cafe are outstanding. Before the storm, while the Edge pool was open, the bartenders Reece and Melanie (I believe her name was) were so personable.
