'Very unique property. Staff at desk not very welcoming. On property shop not well stocked. Bar staff Jay and Lisa were very nice and staff at evening bar were very accommodating. Bell staff didn’t offer to take our bags into room which was strange. Food was good. Great views from room and room was well appointed.'

'Hotel is verouderd en heeft dringed onderhoud nodig, zwembad is klein en ook verouderd. Restaurant is goed eten ok. Geen lift dus met zware koffer een hele toer om boven te komen als je niet op de eerste verdieping zit. 2 nachten meer dan genoeg om hier te verblijven. Heeft 3 sterren maar 2 sterren zou meer dan genoeg zijn'

'The property was in a fantastic location. Beach front was amazing. The rooms were clean. Food was very good. Service at the bar was great. Pool was nice but needed some cleaning and curb appeal. The staff was great. The location was perfect to go sightseeing. It is not the Ritz but great resort for the price. We will definitely go back!'

'The service was good the staff was very friendly and helpful. A few minor inconveniences like the remotes to the tvs not working, no WiFi upon arrival both of which were minor because I didn’t plan to be in the room for the majority of the day but you may want to come home unwind and watch a little tv. Besides that everything else was great, the have a really nice coffee shop on site and sometimes have a live band playing by the pool.'

'Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east.'

'Poor customer service from staff'

'I stayed here with one of my best friends, and my mother and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the security of the fact that they have a main gate that they lock after hours so random people aren’t coming in. The only downside to this hotel and why I only ranked it. Four stars out of five is that the rooms were very small and the water pressure isn’t the greatest but we didn’t mind because we just slept there and the rest of the time we were sightseeing! I do wanna make a note...

'The Island View was charming, the views were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had an earlier morning and they were very kind to make us a breakfast to go. Food was great! If I had to come up with any complaint it would be that the pool (shaded for a good portion of the day) was a bit chilly, but my husband didn’t mind that.'

'Het is een klein en dus intiem hotel. Na de eerste keer ontbijt ken je zo'n beetje iedereen en het geeft een soort amicale sfeer die erg prettig is. Het management bevordert de interactie van de gasten met elkaar door elke avond een bescheiden happy hour te organiseren. Dan kun je met elkaar de dag de revue laten passeren en tips uitwisselen over restaurantjes in de stad. De kamer was netjes schoon en de bedden heerlijk. Rustig. Goede airco, fan, koelkastje en satelliet TV. We zouden hier...

'This is a great place to still while you vacation on St. Thomas. The room and bathroom was very clean. The beach, restaurant all with in walking distance. Great view from the balcony.'

'Gorgeous views, great snorkeling, amazing staff! Between all that, the condo, food and local activities there is no way I'd stay anywhere else on the island!'
