Vind je ideale hotel in Estate Mount Pleasant and Retreat

'Hotel is verouderd en heeft dringed onderhoud nodig, zwembad is klein en ook verouderd. Restaurant is goed eten ok. Geen lift dus met zware koffer een hele toer om boven te komen als je niet op de eerste verdieping zit. 2 nachten meer dan genoeg om hier te verblijven. Heeft 3 sterren maar 2 sterren zou meer dan genoeg zijn'

'I loved the view of the beach. Just opening the curtains and it’s right there !! I loved the pool !! House keeping did a good job while we were away. I love the location ( right by the airport !! So it made picking up and dropping off our rental such a smooth experience). The staff was really friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze !'

'To start, it is a very nice, quaint inn. I like it a lot EXCEPT for the large number of stairs and no assistance with my luggage. A few years ago, that many stairs would just have been a challenge. Today, with arthritic hips, it is an obstacle, completely undoable to carry luggage up there. A bystander helped, but if not, I reckon I would have had to sleep out on the sidewalk next to my luggage! (No, I really would not have). I feel the issue was there just was no staff to haul the luggage. But...

'The Island View was charming, the views were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had an earlier morning and they were very kind to make us a breakfast to go. Food was great! If I had to come up with any complaint it would be that the pool (shaded for a good portion of the day) was a bit chilly, but my husband didn’t mind that.'

'We stayed one night. For the price of almost usd 600 for one night we would expect better hotel. Breakfast was in a basket delivered to your room so you have to eat it sitting on your bed. Beside that it was a very limited breakfast. Environment is dangerous in the evening/night'

'It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip. We woke up sick every morning from breathing in the nasty air all night. I dont know if someone left the front door open allowing the rain water to come in during the storm but we would’ve enjoyed our trip better if we didn’t get sick every time we were in the house. 'This is a great property on a steep hill. Owner Lyndsay was VERY helpful and provided an introduction to the property even volunteering to help me with luggage. The site is walking distance from the downtown area.'
