'This is a hidden gem in a maybe not well known, but great Barrio in Buenos Aires, i.e. Almagro. Taxi and Uber work great and cost little, so within minutes you are in Palermo or other Barrios. The owner of Casa Umare, Pablo, was always available for any request and even provided us with metro cards. The house itself is a beautifully restored 100 year old mansion with matching art all around, mostly from Pablo, who is also a gifted artist.'

'The Hotel has a great location, near restaurants, bars and covenience stores. The room was clean and looked exactly like the photos. We had a minor issue with the shower and was fixed immediately. The service was excellent, all employees are very friendly.'

The rooms are fine and the shower is great! The breakfast is simple and basic. Furthermore, this hotel could do with a makeover. For example, I personally find the breakfast room bare and uninviting. And the red carpets on the stairs were replaced years ago. And the open spaces on the floors look a bit empty and not very flourishing. The staff is friendly, but the hotel does not have the service of collecting luggage etcetera.. The staff is very friendly.."
