GROTE Mountain Home. Ruim en bijgewerkt

Het bergchalet is het perfecte familie-uitje voor grote groepen mensen. Genesteld tegen Prospect Mountain in Estes Park, biedt deze hut ruim onderdak voor maximaal 16 personen met ongeëvenaarde entertainmentopties op het terrein.

Dit huis heeft comfortabele bedden en alle beddengoed en handdoeken zijn aanwezig. De keuken is goed gevuld met servies en apparatuur en er is een barbecue voor gasten. Met 7 slaapkamers en 5 badkamers is er ruimte voor volwassenen en kinderen om zich te verspreiden en hebben hun eigen ruimte om te ontspannen of zichzelf te vermaken.

Geniet van het uitzicht op de berg Olympus vanaf de voortuin of Prospect Mountain vanaf de achterkant van het chalet. Onder de espen en dennen die het pand omringen is een stenen vuurplaats voor een avond vol smore's en een band met familie en vrienden.

In de cabine is een entertainmentparadijs! De mediaruimte is voorzien van een 75 "flatscreen smart-tv met Netflix en bioscoopstoelen. Voor de 'kid in you', of de kinderen zelf, is er een pool / ping pong tafel, pool tafel, air hockey en een legitieme klassieke arcade!

De familie-activiteiten gaan door buiten de cabine. Rondom het pand ligt een discotheek met 3 holes, een basketbalveld en zelfs een midgetgolfbaan waar kinderen en volwassenen dol op zullen zijn! In de achtertuin kunt u genieten van de avonden in de extra grote hot tub voor 8 personen terwijl u omhoog kijkt naar de geweldige sterrenhemel in de nachtelijke hemel.

Downtown Estes ligt op slechts vijf minuten afstand. Geniet van de oude zout water taffy winkel, de decadente snoepwinkel of vind je edelsteen in de beroemde rock shop. Er zijn verschillende brouwerijen in de stad, waaronder de populaire Rock Cut Brewery, de favoriet van een local. Penelope's heeft de beste hamburgers die er zijn, dus probeer het zeker!

Op minder dan 10 minuten afstand ligt het beroemde Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP). Een must-see in Estes, RMNP heeft adembenemende uitzichten, dieren in het wild en wandelpaden die iedereen moet ervaren om te geloven. Mis het niet!

Je zult in het wild levende dieren zien, en er is een grote kans dat je elanden, herten en zelfs wilde kalkoen rond het terrein zult zien. Tussen de natuur en de voorzieningen van het bergchalet, bent u zeker van een onvergetelijke Estes-vakantie!

Amazing property! Very beautiful location about 10am from town (driving). Plenty of rooms and hang out areas and already talking about doing a big Thanksgiving with the whole family one year at this property. Only downside was some windows don’t open and the shades in the mater do not work so we had to use a hair clip to keep the shade open to let in fresh air

This home was perfect for adults and kids of all ages. It is very spacious with plenty of room to give the kids time and locations to play. We all loved the deer that frequented the yard each morning. The location was centrally located to all points of interest such as hiking, shopping and fun parks. We look forward to more family vacations here in Estes Park.

The large house we stayed in was the perfect size for our big family! The kids loved the theater room and the video room. There were deer outside of our house that we all enjoyed watching. Location was delightful. A few things could be improved upon, blinds in the master bedroom did not work. One of the big fans was broken, no containers to keep leftovers in. Overall, it’s a beautiful home and we had a fabulous time in Estes Park.

The spaciousness and amenities of the property were great. The video and game room kept the kids busy. The location is good. The kitchen was well stocked. However, when the property was handed over to us there were several safety issues (a door to a bedroom locked a person inside when it was closed, a row of theater seats were not bolted down so they flipped backwards when they were sat in - it is dark in the room so you couldn’t tell until you sat down, the sliding door to the deck and several windows still do not close nor lock. The deck has several issues with the grill, igniter button, deck surface, and lighting. The blue ray did not work in the theater room. There were no instructions for using the primary amenities of the property. The owners did respond quickly to a few of the liability problems even though it meant Sunday work for maintenance staff. They also were prompt in responding to requests regarding early entry, and regarding the availability of high chairs etc for the kids. Due to these safety issues and other general cleanliness issues we would not stay here again nor recommend it to those we know, especially considering the price for a week’s rental. Owners did not seem to be interested in suggestions for improvement. I guess we were supposed to assume no A/C because it was not listed versus having the listing say ‘no a/c’.

Disappointing stay - would not recommend for special occasions

We rented two of this host’s properties for our wedding weekend, expecting a relaxing and celebratory stay with close friends and family. Unfortunately, the experience was filled with unnecessary stress, miscommunication, and false accusations. We did receive one noise complaint, and police came by once. We were respectful, spoke with the officers, and immediately quieted down. There were no further visits or issues, yet the host later claimed that police had come multiple times and said she was instructed to evict us — which was completely false and incredibly upsetting.Worse, the host insisted that only I (the bride) was allowed to communicate with her, and when a friend tried to help with a minor issue, she treated it as a violation. She called me at midnight the night before my wedding to threaten eviction — an incredibly inappropriate and stressful time to make such a call. I had no time to manage logistics or conflict resolution on my wedding day, and this added unnecessary emotional strain.We also dealt with a broken fridge and non-functioning AC, which made the stay physically uncomfortable. After we checked out, the host falsely accused us of breaking a toilet and ruining sheets, which we absolutely did not do. Thankfully, I had taken a video of the property before we left — and I highly recommend future guests do the same to protect themselves from similar false claims.

Great Location, Needs some basic upkeep

Location is pretty ideal - easy access to everything Estes Park has to offer, both the town and the national park, in a quiet neighborhood with regular visits from local fauna.However, the windows have broken handles, or don't close or open properly. Stairs to back porch are mildly dangerous and in need of replacement. Both common bathrooms were missing shower curtains and/or liners. Owner did not respond when queried. Had to buy our own replacements.None of that is that big of a deal, but it's bizarre for the money and it's trivial stuff to just take care of if you give a damn about your guests and their experience at your B&B.Overall we enjoyed our stay, but what we got was a place devoid of anything else. I think if I ran a Vrbo, I'd ensure that the bathrooms work fully, and that the house & grounds was reasonably well kept up, rather than looking like something I was running into the ground for maximum extraction.

Family Reunion

This house was perfect for our family reunion. There was plenty of space for 16 people. The theater, arcade and hot tub were all a hit. The weather was good and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching herds of elk stroll by. It's close to the shops in downtown Estes, RMNP and hiking trails. We all had a great time.

Great Stay, Remember to ask about Hot Tub

Great place, communication with the owner was great. Comfortably had 3 couples and 4 singles with their own spaces. The only issue was the hot tub - it was 73 degrees when we arrived, so we did not get in until it heated over night.If you're planning to use the tub right away when you arrive, make sure to remind the owner that the hot tub needs to be serviced and heated the day before.

Family Celebration

We came up to Estes as we have for the past 15 years to celebrate our son’s forever 16th birthday. We were very pleased at how spacious and beautiful this house was, including nice bedrooms. The kitchen needed updated pots and pans but that is due to high usage. Overall, the place was very accommodating.Thank you

Disappointed

We booked this for the amenities but we’re not available when we got there. The hot tub was 79 degrees.. master bedroom fireplace didn’t work. It was extremely icy in driveway and a person fell. We tried contacting owner first night but never got a response. Great area.. just wished we could have enjoyed the amenities.

Christmas in Estes Park

What a perfect location for a family gathering! There were 12 of us, ages 7 to 77. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of gathering places and fun places. Well stocked with lots of towels, blankets and pillows. The hot tub, movie theater, ping pong table and arcade were well used. Many of our family members didn’t want to leave the house! Excellent time in Estes Park

The house is very large and had plenty of space to sleep 14 people from three different families. There were some very minor issues with the property, but the owners were great at communicating and resolving anything that was required. The house is close to Estes Park and in the mountains enough that we had wild turkeys and deer walkthrough the yard while we were there.

A lot of room in this home.

We recommend this home if you have a large family. Seven bedrooms four bathrooms. Hot tub, which was great with deer around us. A lot of windows to see the deer roaming on the lawn. It’s only a six minute drive to downtown Estes Park. The kids loved the arcades in the basement, along with the ping-pong table and foosball table .
