'We were pleasantly surprised with this property! While the other review is correct, and the property lacks creature comforts such as bedside lamps, throw pillows, pantry essentials and nice linen, it is clean, well-laid out, and a fabulous house for a family to stay at. In fact, not having meant furnishings meant we could completely relax without worrying about whether our kids would break stuff! We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids, and the bedding configurations meant we could easily accomodate...

'Evans Head just large enough to have the essentials, small enough not to be a hustle and bustle.Unit was just far enough out of town for a enjoyable walk along the beach, shop for supplies, coffee and pies and a stroll home.Lovel walks along Airforce Beach morning and evening.Sitting back on the balcony enjoying the latest book.'

'We had a great week at this property. It is walking distance from beaches (even with a 5 and 7 year old) and from the playground at the Pop Denison park (via a bush track). We had a very friendly welcome from the property owner and they also gave us some fresh fruit from their garden. The back deck was a perfect spot for soaking up some winter sunshine.'

'Comfortable place to stay with great view and breeze'

'Lovely property, great location.Everything was available although parking was lacking especially for more than one vehicle. No access to the garage.The BBQ had not been cleaned for sometime. It was too greasy and dirty to use.Otherwise a great place to stay, very comfortable, making or stay enjoyable.'

'Very good caught fish but there was a loud pitch noise heard mainly at night not sure if it could be whirly bird on roof annoying'

'We really appreciated the opportunity to relax in this well presented house. The garden was a great spot for a cuppa & just listening to birdsong. The location made it walkable to all that we needed including the local pool & gym. We hope to visit again soon.'
