'We stayed for 3 nights at the White Swan. We booked at 2 days notice, and got the last room available, so I wasn’t surprised that it was quite a smallish room, but very very clean and comfortable. Breakfast - the Northumbrian - was magnificent, setting us up for a full days walking with no room or need for lunch. 'Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. '
