'We loved this comfortable property with its view over the city of Horta. We could walk into town in about 20 minutes, which meant we didn’t have to drive. '

'The house is located on a hill and the neighbours are mostly farmers. The house offers all necessary facilities and as a guest you can also use its beautiful garden. A small supermarket and a baker are within 5 min driving distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and gave us some good suggestions for trips to interesting places and for nice hikes. If you like a relaxing holiday in the Faial countryside we can recommend this house.'

'Situated in the hills about a 5-10 min drive from Horta this property has the most stunning views. In the neighbouring fields you have cows chickens rabbits and birds. The kitchen and living room are modern and open plan with everything you need while the rest of the house is more cottage like. Great shower and hot water. Parking is available across the road. 'Von den 4 Unterkünften, die wir in diesem Urlaub auf den Azoren hatten, ist dies die Einzige, die wir nicht empfehlen können. Als wir ankamen (Anfang Mai) waren die Temperaturen zwischen 11 und 17 Grad, mit wenigen sonnigen Abschnitten und dann höheren Temperaturen. Das Haus verfügt über keine Heizung, dementsprechend war die Temperatur im Inneren bei 16 Grad und über 80% Luftfeuchtigkeit. Die Wohnung war also kalt und klamm, in den Schränken und Kommoden riecht es modrig. Erst auf Nachfrage...
