Happy enough.
Room had a great view. TV wasn't so good because data had to be downloaded every 5-15 minutes interrupting viewing. Fine restaurant and good breakfast. Helpful staff. No microwave or knives and forks.

This was the first time for us to stay at Falls Creek in Summer. We found Summit Ridge to be a great base to stay in the high country for a few days. The only thing we didn't consider was the lack of fans/air cons in the rooms. This would be something I'd want next time. Everything else was great.

Generally a good stay and perfect for those who wants value-for-money accommodation. The room was clean so that's a plus point. Room and the ensuite were warm throughout our stay so that's good during winter. Location was somewhat away from the lift area (10 mins walk) but you could easily ski down or catch a free shuttle. Arranging for ATS (luggage transfer) is a must unless you want a good work out. Walls somewhat thin so you can hear your neighbors if they're too loud at night. Saving tip: Have one of your mate on the ATS to carry the bags (2 luggage limit) while the rest can take the free shuttle (to stop 6) to save yourself ~$50 on a return trip.

Great food, but rooms are average
Anne was a lovely host and went out of her way to help us. Dinner was really amazing. We went with a baby and was put in a room which had a bad/stale smell of spices. Unfortunately after complaining, not much was done about it and we figured it would be better for us to leave the windows open and suffer the cold then to put up with the smell!

There are no cooking facilities in the rooms so the only smells are ones that guests bring themselves -- you had been there for 2 or 3 days before raising this with me and I couldn't smell anything untoward apart from poohy nappies smells from your 3 month old baby. I suggested opening windows to air the room and the guests before and after had no complaints!

Stayed in Room A. Small bunk room located next to the spa room on the lower level. This older lodge has a few years behind it now so it’s not nearly as stylish and sleek as the newer accommodation in the village. However, it still gets the job done. The room was clean and the staff were friendly.

Really lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely views and large fireplace in the lounge/dining room. Great food and wine too!

Ski in ski out, fantastic, Anne was a great host
Ski in ski out, fantastic, Anne was a great host, staff were excellent, ski hire shop was 30 metres away, Milsch café was 50 metres away and a great place to get good meals breakfast lunch and dinner. Would go back again and again, highly recommended. The restaurant at Summit Ridge is up there with the best we have eaten at and prices were reasonable for the excellent quality of food, the breakfast included was also excellent and sets you up for the day ahead, look no further and stay here for a wonderful experience. Free Shuttle bus just outside the door

Great hotel
I've never been to the snow therefore never been skiing either. Summit Ridge helped with all that. Provided me with a great place to stay at Falls Creek that was close enough to the action to make it easy but far enough away for peace & quite at night. The staff were friendly and helpful which again, makes for a great stay. The facilities available were more than enough to suit anyone's purposes and the food was outright outstanding. Anyone wanting a great place to stay while carving some snow.... Summit Ridge is the place for you. Happy to stay there again :)

Enjoyable experience
Stayed 3 nights for the Falls peaks challenge. Clean and comfy room, excellent hosts and great dining. Only issue is the shower/bath combo, a bit tight for bigger people.

Nice lodge, great location.
First family holiday at Falls Creek. Lodge was located in a great position for ski in/out. Staff and guests were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Top marks for the restaurant, our meals were delicious!

Excellent staff made us feel very welcome
We had a great time staying at Summit Ridge last year and this time was even better. The team are excellent and made us feel very much at home. The food was fantastic every single meal and the staff on many occasion went the extra mile to make our stay better. Great location, comfortable rooms and good facilities. Thanks to Keith, Anne and crew, we'll most likely be back next year :)

Staff are excellent. Dining hall great. Rooms are sub par. Noise goes right through, similar to best western. Expensive as is the rest of falls creek. Charged $114 to transport from arrival to accommodation +-1km.

Thanks for your review but I take issue with the noise aspect -- the rooms have double concrete block walls and we live in a room in the lodge and it is very rare to hear any noise from other rooms. And Falls Creek is not any more expensive than any other area in peak season --- the low or summer season rates are very reasonable. I don't know where the $114 came from --- the Oversnow Service from the terminal to any lodge is around $20 per person and from then on the village shuttles are free.

Comfy and clean, excellent hosts
We stayed for the labor day weekend, 3 Peaks cycling event. The mezzanine room was good but not excellent. King size bed upstairs was quite firm but still comfy. Sofa bed downstairs was very good. The stairs are bit of a chore after a while. Bathroom was very clean, the shower was difficult to keep at a constant temp and the taps leaked quite a bit, but overall quite satisfactory. An excellent continental type breakfast was laid out each morning and Anne made very nice double lattes. Thoroughly recommend Summit Ridge!!

Not a nice place to stay at
Our room was terrible: leaking and drafty windows, the heater did not warm the room properly, it was constantly damp and cold. The toilet did not flush properly, the fan in the bathroom was noisy and did not remove the steam while having a shower. Will not stay here again. The included breakfast was good.

Great ski in ski out location near top of village. Wonderful hosts and friendly waiting staff. Reputed to have the best food on the mountain. Likely to be true but we couldn't say for sure as we didn't try everywhere else. Great relaxing ambience in the lounge before dinner.

Good lodge for ski in and ski out
We recently stayed at Summit Ridge. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and well heated. We had a mezzanine suite and found the stairs a bit steep but got used to them. The managers Anne and Keith were great hosts. Anne is especially warm and friendly. The lodge is well located for ski in and out. The restaurant at Summit Ridge is probably the best on the mountain but if you want a change there are others close by.

Very attractively designed building which was very well kept. The staff were helpful. The lodge maintains a fully fledged restaurant within the building which was so good it could operate as a stand alone business.

Great Lodge at Falls Creek
I would highly recommend! The place was so warm and welcoming. The staff were great, so much help and super friendly! Easy walk to the main ski lift, great little cafes and everything you would want for a trip to the snow!
