'Well needed rest after 9 days of motorcycle riding. We couldn’t have chosen a better location to stay at. The facilities have been renovated and super clean. The rooms were perfect, comfy bed, coffee machine, plenty of hot water. Special thanks to Tao, the owner for letting us use his garden hose to wash our two Harley’s. Very bike friendly location. 'It was nice and cosy, lovely property, exactly what we wanted. The mattresses were very comfortable, which surprised me! And they are well located, so you are near everything in Cavendish. We would recommend this place to anyone! They even left us homemade cookies before leaving.'

'De kamers waren wel erg klei en alles stond scheef in het houten huisje. We moedten met zn tweeën in n bedje van 1,40 breed slapen, in n kamer van 4x4 meter. 'The first word that comes to mind is 'tired'. It is an older facility and it shows both inside and out. Great location for hiking, golf, biking and going to the beach. Decent facility for breakfast and positive people working there, but the breakfast is awful. Cut up boiled potatoes (not hash browns), a weird kind of sausage that I've only tasted in SE Asia, and plastic utensils with a paper plate. Linens were pilly and rough, but lots of towels. 'Cottage with no deck, 2 broken outdoor chairs and a picnic table 12" from ground. Not a comfortable chair inside, couch swallowed you up. Good location, beds great. Kitchen had all you need. Regret not bringing a Roku.'

'Highly recommend the Blackbush if you are looking for a slower retreat with a high quality experience. The staff were all very supportive and helpful when it came to planing out stay. 'It is in a very pretty spot near the North River. Cows (ice cream) is about a block away and open til 10pm. There is parking and a gas station across the street. I was in #5, my room was lovely no problems and the tv worked, basic cable but still good. I would recommend for a short stay.'

'The place was great, very nice little cottage and nice staff. The only big issue was that the temperature settings in the rooms were locked to cooler temperature in the living space (requiring the use of blankets for eating and watching TV) and warm in the bedroom making it an uncomfortably warm temperature to sleep in. My partner tends to produce a lot of heat and even he found it too cold in the living space.'
