'Tried to contact host 4 times leading up to our stay. No response. We never received a response or access to the home. VRBO advised me they were cancelling our stay 1 hour after we were supposed to check in. Our last resort was a below average hotel. Don’t take your chances on this one'

'Attention to detail - there were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed and Renee was incredibly quick to address all issues. I have been to Beavercreek multiple times to visit family and have found very few places to stay with our whole family and this one was by far the best. It is comfortable, nicely decorated and well-equipped. The location is great, being close to the walking/running path and a fun pizza place, both within walking distance. I can’t say enough good things!'

'I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!'

'5 stars – Beautiful HomeWe had a great stay at this lovely property! The home was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The decor was charming, and the space felt inviting and peaceful. The location was also convenient and quiet—perfect for relaxing.The only downside was that it got a bit warm inside.
