'Ionian Arches is a really well located, clean, family run place. The photos on the listing definitely glamorise it a bit - e.g we chose a superior room with garden view, which actually looked out onto the driveway and some plants. We were also a bit disappointed to find our breakfast is only offered in the summer - June onwards - but luckily there are lots of cafes in walking distance. Our shower also didn’t work great due to the water coming out in one pressurised stream from the middle. But...

Rooms are little outdated and minimal comfort ( no place to sit unless on the bed/couch, would have been nice to have a decent seat). Airco works well. More entertainment would have been nice. 'Villa Pami is a great property. The Villa is set in a quiet area with a rural feel. The gardens were beautiful and well-cared for and our apartment was just right for our 6-night stay. It was thoughtfully furnished, with a traditional feel but modern conveniences. Most notable was the hospitality shown us by the host Michael! He welcomed and helped us as if we were family. Our stay was in early March, so very off-season. But Michael helped us find restaurants that were open and suggested...
