'The house is located on the river and is fantastic. Really, you have got to sit on the deck and soak up the peaceful waters, watch the deer and eagles (yes, eagles), and other wildlife. The interior is fully functional and laid out really well for relaxation. Really appreciated the NetFlix too for late evening chilling. Cannot go wrong staying here. Owners were great to work with and communicated really well. We'll be back!'

'The worst thing that I could is that the bathroom was a bit small. But Seriously, who cares?! I was too busy enjoying the saltwater pool and hot tub. Not to mention the sauna, of course. I loved sitting outside in the morning enjoying my coffee and the great view. So relaxing and peaceful. Unfortunately, because of the rain I was not able to use the bikes or fire pit they had available. But I'll make sure to do so the next time! Thank you Pine Mountain!! Keep doing what you're doing!'

'We enjoyed our stay at this quiet lake house. Lots of extras that made it very enjoyable and cozy. The canoes and kayaks were great way to enjoy the lake. Loved seeing the turkeys, deer, and chipmunks each day in the yard and neighborhood. '

'The hosts (Ken and Sara) have thought of everything that a guest could want. We only had to bring our own food, but they had the fridge stocked with sodas when we arrived. They supplied microwave, toaster, cooktop with oven, plates, cups, utensils, kayaks, fishing rods, life vests, shampoo, body wash--I could list a hundred more things. The hosts texted us to be sure that we were able to access the cottage easily and get settled in. They also checked with us during our six-day stay to ask...

'Amazing stay - perfect place. 10/10'

'This place was great. We had a wonderful week at this lake house. We went out kayaking every day and especially on weekdays had the lake to ourselves. It was beautiful and relaxing. The house has every modern convenience even though it is surrounded by pristine nature. The drive out to this lake cabin is down a few dirt roads that aren't on Google Maps so it was good that we arrived during daylight hours at least the first time.'

'This is a small old, nice, inexpensive house in a small town. Only 20 miles from Marquett. 1 block from snowmobile trail. Clean, cozy, decent kitchen. The bathroom and beds a little small, but were fine. Way better than a hotel and small family oriented.'

'Great property. Close to our friends and town. The cabin had just about all the amenities needed to feel like home. Peaceful, nice home. We really enjoyed staying here and will potentially do it again. '

We used the canoe which was nice and the kids took a dip in the lake. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was clean. Definitely a fun UP getaway!'
