'Zeer goed middelgroot country hotel. Hotel is zeer oud wat je kan merken aan de golvende vloeren. Hotel is mooi gerenoveerd. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het op een zeer drukke kruising ligt. Wel dubbele ramen. Ontbijt is zeer goed. Vooral als je een Engels ontbijt wil is er heel veel keus. In de bar kan je bijna de hele dag eten bestellen. Zeer ruime keus. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Zoek je een hotel in een rustiger plaats, kijk dan eens in Broadway. Rustig en zeer mooie plaats.'

'It is truly a unique experience in a marvellous town. The family room is at the far end of the pub, private and still you can mingle with the pub crowd if you want too. The bus to Oxford (once per hour in the weekend) stops in front of the pub, an absolute plus. There’s only room for four cars at the parking so get in there in time. If you have a dust allergy it’s better to chose something else. This is a couple of hundred years old environment; it’s prown to have dust. '

'We stayed just one night, a Monday, as we wanted to go to the market held in Moreton in Marsh every Tuesday, April to October. This market was first granted by charter in 1629 and established in its current form in 1976. While it is a relatively small market, it was very interesting, and we got a couple of lovely items. 'Photos give a very different impression to the reality. Building is very tired and was locked when we arrived early afternoon. Room was extremely small, with a very tiny en-suite. No curtains only blinds on the window meant that we were woken early by the early morning sun. Property is on a very busy, noisy road.'

'Poor experience unfortunately. We checked in mid afternoon but, as we were attending an event elsewhere, we didn't get to our room until late evening. Firstly, we struggled to find our room as it was not clearly signed. On going into our room, we had no power at all. We had to prop open our door to let enough light in so that we could call somebody. 'Een echte engelse pub waar wij van houden. Een heerlijk oud gebouw, voorzien van alle moderne gemakken. De charme van een pub zoals wij ze niet hebben in Nederland. De kamers waren mooi ingericht, kort geleden helemaal vernieuwd. Een compleet scheve kamer met mooie lage plafonds maar het bed staat recht ;-) Goede wifi, mooi uitzicht en heerlijk eten!'

'Alle kamers zijn op de 1e verdieping dus je moet een trap op. Het heerlijke ontbijt wordt op de overloop neergezet en je eet op je kamer. Op de overloop is een koelkast, heel handig! Het is een boerderij met schapen en koeien, leuk om te zien. In de omgeving is niets te doen, je moet er met de auto op uit maar in de Cotswolds zijn veel lieve dorpen dus je verveelt je niet.'

'This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening.
