'I stayed on two separate occasions at the motel twice in a week in two different rooms. The first stay I would rate a 9/10 and the second a 7/10. Both were clean and comfortable. The water sound from the the room next door was extremely loud in the 2nd room. The staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. Convenient stay to the ferry to Newfoundland.'

'hotel needs a total make over. It is old, worn out, beds smell, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, everyting was sticky and filthy'

'No shoes allowed from the front door throughout the hotel. So take some slippers!! The owner makes you feel like you are invading here space and makes you feel like her time is more important than the customers time. There are lots of rules and $100 potential fine if you make a sound or wear your shoes. The owner can be quite sarcastic . Lastly She was upset by the amount paid. I booked online so they set the price not me.'

'It was so so beautiful - not much around you which is amazing, but also prepare to have food etc with you. Vince was amazing, the view was gorgeous, I would recommend to anyone looking for a unique stay:)'

'I showed up to this place late after traveling 8 hours at night my kids were exhausted so they went straight to bed. When I had a minute to check everything my kids were already asleep. There was stuff splattered all over the walls not cleaned. The bathtub was not clean still shampoo on the side of the bathtub where the shampoo bottle was from previous visit from whoever. For real snots wiped into the wall and was not clean. I will not be returning.'
