'The manager was responsive and it was quiet. There were some cleanliness and general maintenance issues. The tub drain was full of hair, tub faucet handle fell off, bulb burned out. One of the mattresses needs replacing. Needs a good, deep cleaning. Coffee was good.'

'We liked that the property was within easy walking distance of downtown. The bathroom was very nice with double sinks and a nice hot shower. A few details to improve would be that some burners on the gas stove didn't work. The fan on the microwave would not turn off unless you unplugged it it had an error code s2d2. Also some pans had loose handles. Otherwise it was convenient clean and cozy.'

'The Hideaway was absolutely blissful. We literally spent hours sitting in comfortable chairs and enjoying the views of Widbey Island just across the straight. It was tranquil beyond belief. The accommodations itself were superb, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Communication with the owner was seamless and pleasant. We very much wish to find opportunities to stay at the hideaway in the future--the entire experience was joy incarnate :-).'

'Rooms themselves are very clean and modern. Hotel is right off the interstate, and right beside the freight lines, property noise is an issue. That being said, the price for this hotel while in line with the area, is shockingly high for a basic room. I stayed here out of necessity and because I knew some of the lower priced options nearby were very poor. I wouldn’t stay again just based on price, unless it was an emergency.'

'We arrived on a Tuesday evening, and the only non-Casino restaurant was closed. We had to eat in the casino itself, which was a turn-off. This is a nice small casino, if that is what you are into. We just weren't into it.'
