'The property was beautiful. Everything was clean. I didn't take it to take advantage of the hot tub because of rain, but the couple days I did get in it was very relaxing. There's a Perkins and a Ledo Pizza close by that I ordered from takeout. They're just about 3-5 miles up the road which is nice. There were houses close by but with the woods and the trees it felt quiet and private. It was just a quiet time with me and my cats. Would definitely recommend.'

'Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. 'This cabin was the perfect escape! It struck the ideal balance between comfort and nature- exactly what you'd want fora relaxing stay at Alpine Lake. The home was incredibly well-stocked with everything from towels and dishes to cleaning supplies, spices, and extra linens. It made settling in so easy. 'Property was spectacular, the view was impressive. Everything you need in a home away from home, the area is filled with nature! Many hikes and exploring then back to the house to relax and take in the awesome view. Short ride to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley state parks. Very comfortable accommodations, we travel with our pups at least 2-3 times a year somewhere different and always stay at a VRBO home, this home was o e of the very best!'

'The Four Seasons did NOT disappoint. Most of the time you go to a place and the pictures are better than the actual place… well, not here. All the touches were mindful, beautiful decor, luxurious furnishings all throughout the house. We stayed 2 nights and wished we could’ve stayed longer! We really enjoyed the arcade game and the location was great....The only issue was that the grill needed to be cleaned We tried to use it on the first night but the flames were too big because of grease build up.We found a sock on the floor of one of the bedrooms which made me wonder how well the cleaners actually cleaned the house.Would probably stay here again though '
