Beautiful Preveli Beach is located at the edge of Kourtaliotikos Gorge near Plakias at the South Coast of Crete, Greece. We walked down the steep path from Preveli Monastery (which is also worth a visit ⛪️) with this magnificent view 🌴 The other way to reach the beach is by boat. You can walk into the palm grove on both sides of the river.

'Overall the villa is nice but it’s a bit tired and could do with some updating. The pillows were really uncomfortable and there were no bowls at all for breakfast cereal etc. I don’t think the pool is cleaned enough, two out of the three of us have ear infections which may well be a result of swimming in it. 'The villa is wonderful, exactly as listed and the host Michael is a pleasure to deal with. The whole communication process from start to finish with him was so straightforward and he will go out of his way to help you in any way he can. 'This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. '
