'First of all this home is beautiful! Wonderfully furnished in every way. Kitchen is percecfly accommodating! But…the house is amazing for a large family vacation, business outings the way it is perfectly laid out to allow for privacy at night but wonderful gatherings at dinner and drinks and time together in the evenings! The hosts are amazing. Michael and Davita are amazing. You have to stay here to understand. Cheers!'

'We had a wonderful time staying at Countryside Florence Villa. Pool was an absolute highlight during the heatwave Italy was experiencing at the beginning of our trip. Also being nestled in the hills outside of Florence meant it was 5C cooler at the house than down in the City. The property itself is large and well looked after with lots of character - huge fireplaces, old wooden ceiling beams and tiled floors. Modern amenities like AC, wifi and a large TV are supplied and were faultless during...

'The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna.'

'Wat a beautiful location, it is like a postcard. We had a warm welkom from Jane. She and Jean-Pierro are very friendly pleasant people. Just like the friendly dog and cat. The house is just beautiful and has the comfort of 2 levels with 2 bathrooms. We enjoyed the several garden seating areas. The views are breathtaking and well worth the challenge of the road that leads tho this beautiful home. We highly recommend it.'

'We spent 12 days in this lovely place. First of all the warm welcome of our hosts, Beatrice and Stefano, was so nice after our long trip by car. The house was very clean and it was nicely chilled inside due to the airco. There were bottles of homemade red wine and olive oil, cookies, as well as a bottle of white wine and refreshments in the fridge. So nice! Further the really stunning views outside on the historic city of Pistoia and the beautiful surrounding green hills makes this place...

'This place could not be in a better location. You would never know that you are practically down town Florence while staying in this little oasis. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained were you wake up to the deer, pheasant, and ducks with your morning coffee. The stairs to the second story bedroom can be treacherous so be cautious going up and down and the upstairs bathroom is quite small, however the bottom bathroom makes up for it! Now the spa underneath is a real treat! The water...

'We absolutely loved our stay in this villa! It is an older hunter’s lodge situated in the hills with stunning views overlooking the city. Each room is beautifully furnished with a story all of its own. There was more than enough room for our group of 12 to stay comfortably with large gathering rooms for eating, playing card games and watching movies together. Natuur om je heen brengt veel ‘beestjes’ met zich mee, daar moet je je op instellen (schorpioenen, duizendpoten, hoornaars). Bij het huis veel ruimte, rust en een prachtig zwembad. De bedden liggen goed, weinig kastruimte (wel hang, maar geen planken). Dit verschilt per kamer. Beneden grote douche, boven erg kleine cabine en/of in een badkuip douchen. 'Oh how we love i vivai. We stayed here last year and we knew we just had to come back. The place looks amazing, the staff are really friendly, the breakfast is delicious, the food by the pool is the best and for us the most important thing. It is super clean! I have asthma and have a hard time finding places i can stay in. But this is excellent. We are at our second stop in italy now but we miss i vivai already! They could learn a thing or two from i vivai! Wish we never left! '
