'Beautiful historic waterfront property where we watched dolphins every morning as we ate our delicious breakfast. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Lots of attention to detail every where you looked. The location was close to Daytona which was perfect for our two days at Rockville. The New Smyrna public beach was so close and an excellent place to relax. We would 100% stay here again!'

'My wife and I came for her birthday. We’ve always wanted to try a B&B and this was our first one. The staff were beyond wonderful. The food and the atmosphere were fantastic. The property is so clean and comfortable so it was really easy to relax. We were in The Jane on the third floor and thankfully they have an elevator as I am recovering from an injury and stairs are very difficult for me. I enjoyed the room and it was clean with a very comfortable bed that we really enjoyed relaxing in....

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'I booked a room at an oceanfront property with 3 pools. What we were given was a property several blocks away and not located on the water and without a pool. We had to drag our luggage up rickety wood stairs. We are in our 70's and this was a struggle. It was not what was described. It was a bait and switch.'

'I was very disappointed with the room, dank,dark, a strange odor. Nothing like the picture. I was told my truck and trailer would fit in a grass space next to the highway. It did not. It protruded into the entrance drive way on a very busy street. Thinking about my liability I decided not to stay. The manager was very rude and threatened to not return my payment. 'Giving this property an over all 3 because the staff was very nice and the view was spectacular. We had to book this last minute because our original accommodations were cancelled by the host last minute for no reason. The hotel is very run down and old. It has a lot of potential but the owner doesn’t seem to care about updating or maintaining the property. '
