'Very clean room- with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! The decor was so fun! The owner was very nice. We were unable to stay for breakfast- but she was making Eggs Benedict that day. The location is great- so many shops and restaurants around and a short walk down to the beach!! She has beach supplies available for use by guests as well. We fell in love with this area, and definitely plan to come back again and stay at the Inn On The Avenue!!!'

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'I wish I could upload the pictures I took. The furniture was stained and gross. The place smelled of mold. What was really upsetting was the pictures online were beautiful. Once I walked in the kitchen was a dump. The bathroom was gross. I immediately tried to speak with somebody. I was only able to text. They did offer me another suite. I immediately declined. I just wanted to go home. I wish I could have gotten my money back. It is what it is. I know the place was super cheap for the weekend....

'We happen to have a room that you could see the ocean and the rooms are very spacious with a microwave a fridge a little two top oven, which we wouldn’t use but the fridge in the microwave are very handy. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I really enjoy it. Good location and a nice spot.'

' To make matters worse I accidentally left an expensive pair of sunglasses in the bathroom. I am absolutely certain of where I left them. By the time I realized and contacted the hotel right after my Uber had already left I was told nothing had been found. That response is extremely concerning and disappointing. Overall this experience was frustrating and unacceptable. Between the lack of cleanliness and the handling of my lost item I will be escalating this issue to corporate.'
