'This was a perfect getaway weekend! The lodge is in a remote area, which is so quiet. We enjoyed kayaking, going for a boat ride with the owner, Gary, and just walking around the village.Peggy stayed in touch with me throughout the time before our visit as well as during the visit even though she was not able to be there for the weekend. Debbie was our hostess and she was wonderful! The lodge is so unique and comfortable.'

'We stayed Sunday - Wednesday at Riverside Lodge. The Lodge was beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and Hooper Island was breath taking. We were able to take a boat ride to tour around the island and grad a little history and enjoy the stories. If you looking for a place to relax and renew... this is the place. '

'I booked this place last minute just to spend a quick night after a change of plans in our trip due to weather. The place is simply disgusting. Don’t stay here. I never thought a Wyndham branded property could be this filthy. Shame on them for not verifying the basic cleanliness of a hotel they allow to use their name.'

'It is a very clean, well-maintained property. We were pleasingly greeted by staff and every accommodation we asked for was given. No fuss. For future patrons, I would suggest you use the automated checkout. The neighborhood is not rowdy. The food was good. Morning breakfast was delicious. I will use this chain in the future.'

'Everything was pretty good except for the door would not latch fully. You literally had to lift up for it to latch and be able to lock it. And minor details like a rusty toilet paper holder and cracked light cover in the bathroom. But the view was so worth it. These would have been a bigger issue if the stay would have been longer. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Will be back just because you have water on both sides and it is secluded from the everyday busy bodies.'
