'The place was so nice, clean and so close to the beach'

'I often stay in Wollongong and this is the best serviced apartment I've stayed in. Clean, fresh, bright, beautifully decorated and spacious. The apartment had everything I needed plus the extras like boxes of tissues and an extra soft cuddly blanket. I was also able to book for only 1 night (rather than being forced into 2 nights like other places). Reception was great too - fab comms and very helpful. I'll be back!'

'First off, the reception greeting was good very polite. But ask them something out of the ordinary and you get a blank stare. No comprehension of what you are asking. The manager says things are available to you, but the front desk know nothing about it. Keep in mind that there are new owners now who are doing catch ups in quite a few areas. On the surface everything looks clean spotless and tidy. But behind those washing machines, toilets and dyers are months of dust, powder and assorted...

'The two-bedroom apartment is nice and spacious, and the full kitchen looks great, but there wasn’t even one pot or pan provided. As a result, the kitchen was only useful for making coffee and using the plates for meals bought outside—you can’t cook anything without basic cookware. The balcony also appeared not to have been cleaned for some time—the tiles were covered in black dust—so we didn’t feel comfortable stepping out there.
