'Our stay was lovely: the manageress, bar staff and waitresses were all welcoming. They provided information about the local area and showed interest when we returned after our days out.
We stayed three nights in a very comfortable room, with a good selection at breakfast. We ate in one evening which very tasty.

'Et hyggelig, familiedrevet hotell med beliggenhet på landet. Rommet var relativt enkelt, og badet ganske lite, men gode senger, og det var rent.
Det var bar i resepsjonen, så det var hyggelig å kunne ta en øl og slå av en prat med betjeningen. Vi spiste en deilig middag om kvelden, variert meny av både mat og drikke.
Til frokost kunne man velge full engelsk eller annet man ønsket, forskjellige brødtyper, drikke, syltetøy, marmelade o.l. Alt var delikat og velsmakende.
Uteområdet var svært...

'Well what a really pleasant place, surpassed all expectations. We stayed in The Horseshoe Suite and it was perfect for a short stay. Our only problem would have been the bath size - small, but the shower was more than adequate. The bed was very large and very comfortable with exceptionally white bed linen, every where was very clean and tidy. The inn is perched up right on the edge of the moors with some stunning views.
It is a 2 min walk down the hill to the beautiful hamlet or up the very steep hill to the ruins of the old iron ore furnaces.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic we would book again.
