'It was a very nice stay with an excellent couple. Warm welcomed. A very nice big dog was also present to welcome. I had to say hello to the dog as he was so friendly. Very cooperative host. Family environment. Residence is upstairs like three rooms and bathroom outside the rooms. Mostly quiet. Nice and clean and a proper communication with the host throughout my stay. I was invited warmly to have breakfast but had no time. Will miss this stay.'

'The hotel offers free parking, which is a big plus as we traveled from Belgium to England by car. It takes only 10 minutes on foot to reach the centre of Bath, so we used the car only when visiting the surrounding villages. Our room was very spacious, and the nice surprise was the Nespresso machine. Also, the breakfast was delicious, and vegetarian options are available.'

'Excellent location not far from main town centre but still in quiet area. great staff ,great breakfast clean ,comfy pillows and bed ,good shower and bath ,well stocked complimentary tea coffee milk sugar etc .parking a little tight but staff there to assist if you struggle .saying that would still score it a 10 out of ten and would stay again 👍'

'Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear.'

'The room was very spacious and comfortable everything and more was provided for our stay. Was offered a cream tea on arrival which of course we excepted. There was a great choice at breakfast. Terri was a wonderful host full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend. Crosscombe was a lovely village with a great pub serving good food. There was a bar at the b and b.'

'A 3-star hotel / bed-and-breakfast - very personal, friendly service. The hotel is visited daily by locals buying newspapers. All meals cooked to order, including breakfast - a nice change to the usual experience in hotels nowadays. We turned up at about 4.30pm to find opening time was 5pm - we must have missed this in the instructions. The hotel was open promptly at 5 pm however. On the Sunday the bar closed at 5pm so dinner had to be elsewhere - not a problem for us as we always tend to have...
