no electricity in part of the home
We checked in on Sunday and noticed the electricity was not working on the right side of the house. This included the TV, the small heater and all lights including outdoor entryway lighting. I called Monday morning and someone came out to explore. He assessed it was a more difficult problem that he could not fix it. He said he thinks its reversed wired and needed an electrician. I agreed to grant access even if we were not there. I never received a text, or update, during our stay or any other correspondence from Vacasa or the local manager and the issue was not taken care during our stay. The last day my husband unplugged a lamp the electricity, all lights came on at once and was working again but it was a little scary, there was some kind of electrical short. We left a note not to plug in the lamp because it seemed to be the cause of the short and it could be dangerous. I did not feel it was my job to be chasing Vacasa on my vacation. I figured it was their job to contact me at this point. I did email when I got back about our experience. I do not feel I received the product I paid for not to mentioned it was stressful. I have been told by Vacasa that they have fixed the electrical issue at the home and I would be getting some kind of refund which I requested but now they are not getting back to me. So we will see I hope they come through.

Great stay
Enjoyed our stay! Communication with property manager was easy but we didn't need anything as all was good. The house is nicely renovated, the shower is amazing. Had everything we needed to cook. There is a single cot that we used for one of the kids which was appreciated. The house feels remote even though there are neighbours. It's a very quiet area, hardly saw anyone around. Walk to the beach down the hobbit trail is fun but up and down a few dunes before you get to the beach. Enjoyed the area - ATVing on the dunes, kayaking the Siltcoos river, and visiting Cape Perpetua.

Peaceful and refreshing
Clean spacious with modern amenities. Interesting walk to the beach, the Hobbit Trail being a one person wide tunnel through the bushes. The dunes on the other side are a bit daunting but good exercise. It might be a good idea to mark the edge of the steps going to the front door. Going down the steps, it's tricky to see where each step ends. They kind of blend together.

Best little getaway!
We seriously wished we had booked more than one night here. It was very nice, clean and the master bath was gorgeous!! The walk to the beach was a fun little adventure and the beach itself was perfection. Definitely on our list to book next time we head to the Oregon coast.

Beach house relaxation
We loved this house. It is so comfortable and we felt right at home. The shower is incredible. Great central location to use as a home base for sight seeing. The hobbit trail to the beach was super fun!

Very nice but I read it was located a few minutes from the beach. We walked up the road then through a thicket, over several sand dunes and on the highest dune, we could see the beach….more than a few minutes away. Was disappointed about that but it was a very lovely place.

Almost continuous rain
Overall, very nice. No directions to coast. No coffee for a cup to settle in (strange, as all other places at least have a small supply of coffee!) TV directions would have been helpful. Family emergency, had to leave very early Sunday morning....Left puzzle and game....on purpose...

Rainy weekend at the coast
Had a lovely time! Spent hours laughing, Playing board games, running through the hobbit tunnels to the beach and thrift shopping. The house was lovely and cozy! You weren't kidding about how great that shower is! The beds slid around on the floors every time we rolled over, which was annoying. But all in all 9/10!! Thanksgiving stay
Home is very cute. Easy to find. Close to anything you want to do in a quiet neighborhood. A small thing to consider is there isn't any cable to watch basic TV. Which isn't noted. There also was no extra toilet paper, paper towel provided. And no dish washer detergent left to use. Other than that this place is great. Comfy beds and beautifully decorated. More comfortable dining room table and chairs would be the only upgrade i would suggest.

Pictures of the house did it justice. The house was lovely. But the pictures of the beach access are very misleading. There is NO beach access any where near the house.

We had a good stay but the Vacasa managers don’t do a good job of taking care of issues. Their communication with us was non existent and there is not a person for you to contact, just an 800 number to call and when you finally get to a human they just read to you from an information sheet and have never been to the property.

Good accommodations but....
Relatively new or recently remodeled with IKEA like decor so the place was comfortable but not as clean as expected. Surfaces had a quick wipe but certainly not a COVID clean. Spider webs in window corners INSIDE, dust and debris in corners, under beds, on baseboards and on top of bath mirror. Windows that were easy to get to had a quick wipe but the others had not been cleaned in quite some time, if ever. Duvet cover was soiled with brown stains. The unit has a washer and dryer so we could wash linens but one shouldn’t have to. Only one wash pod and two dishwasher tablets for a five day stay was too skimpy. There is a Dollar tree in town so we were able to get more of what we needed but with the $$ we paid in fees we were disappointed in the condition we found the rental. Otherwise, convenient to all that the area has to offer in a relatively quiet location.

Great get-away!!
Everything is new and very clean. Close to the ocean with a trail less than 1/2 mile through the dunes. Had a wonderful time and will stay again in the future.

Cute house
House was clean, just the right size for family of four. It is within walking distance to the beach. There is a narrow winding path through the brush and bushes. Florence beaches are very windy and rather cold during the summer so pack a warm jacket.

No heating unit
Cute, well decorated, perfect size, lots of towels Ok location, overgrown lawn, spider webs in shower, delayed response or bad links when communicating with management. Huge issue with no heat except 4 space heaters which were loud, dangerous and took 3 hours to bring house to 70 degrees. No communication prior to renting regarding lack of heat. I question how occupancy permits were obtained. Management took 3 hours to respond.

Nice getaway, great location.
We stayed for a week and enjoyed our time in the area and home. The master shower is great and very relaxing, the home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing's that I would change and I hate to complain but the TV is on the small side yet it is a smart TV and has everything needed like Netflix etc. The living room furniture while nice is not very comfortable, I like to kick back at the end of a day with my feet up to watch TV but the seating just dint do it for me. The windows in the master bath look like they have never been cleaned and the bedrooms could use ceiling fans. Overall the home is priced well and was a good place to stay plus I was able to park my 30' car hauler on the side of the house. Also, the management was very nice and accommodating.
