'The first room we were given, had sheets that were slept in and simply straightened out. The mattress had huge stains on it. And so did one of the pillows. Completely unacceptable. Extremely friendly staff at the front desk, were horrified at what I found and got me another room right away. That is the only reason this hotel did not get one star. Cleaning staff should be disciplined for this lapse.'

'We were pleasantly surprised by this historic gem in the small town of Florence, SC. The best part was the in-hotel restaurant called “Victors.” The waiter was so warm and helpful in recommending food and drinks for the whole family. It enhanced our experience greatly!'

'No door lock, toddlers feet were black bc the room was dirty, AC unit didn’t work, manger tried to take my key card after concerns and give my room away with the items still in the room. Phone in room didn’t work, the fumes of paint were nauseating '

'This hotel is cheap because it’s directly next to a drug motel, sharing the same parking lot. Was verbally confronted in parking lot by several strangers. Attempted to cancel the rooms with no response. Wound up leaving and found another hotel room elsewhere. Expedia was not helpful in any way and was not able to cancel reservations and was billed anyway. This is going to be the last time I used Expedia for anything. Extremely disappointed!!'

'We don’t like this place because it’s not good clean much and dirty from sink , toilet , tube , etc and some copied the pictures plus pool and breakfast is closed , Thank you'

'Onvriendelijk ontvangst, geen info gekregen. Vochtige kamer, condens en schimmel op de lamp. Diervriendelijk hotel was te zien, er lag hondenhaar op de bovenste bedsprei bij beide bedden. We zijn met 3 en we kregen maar 2 handdoekenpaketten. Ontbijt: heel pover, alleen zelf te bakken wafels.'

'The hotel is horrible. There are a lot of people doing drugs in the back area and a lot of homeless people. People were knocking on our door in the middle of the night. I don't recommend it.'

'Room need an update. They say they have breakfast but I call coffee and cereal not breakfast. No bread at all. Frontdesk door was closed when checking out. We just had 'breakfast' there. Ticket booth like to check out, did not feel friendly to me. Location is not Super8 worthy.'

'Our stay for the week was nice except the first day the refrigerator wasn’t get cold enough but overall stay was great!!! I would definitely recommend this place for lodging!!'

'It's decent for the price and great for a quick night's rest. Overall the room was nice as far as the comfort of the bed and pillows. There was no shower liner however which was weird being that the shower curtain itself had been cut short. Do not expect a breakfast that you'd find at Holiday Inn here. It's very limited so grabbing breakfast elsewhere is your best bet. If I needed to grab a room for a quick layover this is it but definitely not for multiple days. Still an easy 4 out of 5 for me...

'The toilet of our first room was nasty. I showed splashes of doo doo under the seat and in the bowl. The lady on the front desk was awesome. She changed is to another room. Then we found that the sheets between the comforter and the fitted was missing. Not to mention that the body wash bottle was left empty on the sink counter. This falls under housekeeping. Someone needs to do some supervising. It's bad because the place was recently renovated and it actually looks nice.'
