'This is a beautiful hotel. The reason I gave it a 3 star is because we did not have hot water in shower, not even warm water -it was cold water. I tried it at different times of day, it was always the cold water. I paid a lot extra to have the overwater villa, a once in a lifetime experience for me, so was very disappointing to freeze during my showers.
We told the staff, but they did not do anything about it. We told them we were coming back in a few days and could they offer discounted...
'We loved our stay at Meruorah. This is by far the best option if you want to stay near the harbour. Very convenient before or after your boattrip to Komodo etc. You could even start your trip next to the hotel! As easy as that!
Try to book the seaview rooms, those are stunning.. i tried rooms on both sides… for sure the ones with seaview were the best. I slept with the doors open and closed. Even though I am a light sleeper… did not hear noices from outside, wich keep me awake… at all.
