Huis is weggestopt aan het einde van een korte onverharde weg die zich uitstrekt terug van het strand walkover. (8e St., West). Als u naar het oosten loopt, kunt u het strand in de opwindende stad Folly Beach in minder dan een mijl lopen. Als u in het westen langs het strand in minder dan een kwart mijl loopt, komt u in het ongerepte county park waar het eiland de dolle rivier ontmoet, perfect voor vogels kijken, dolfijnen kijken en natuurliefhebbers! Of gewoon wakker worden en springen in de oceaan! Weinig foliehuizen genieten van dit soort ongeëvenaarde privacy en afzondering. Daarom noemen we het Fantasy 'Island'! Drie zijden van het huis zijn omringd door moeraswildernis en de achtertuin is volledig privé. Er is een ongelooflijk aantal parkeerplaatsen bij dit huis met zijn reusachtige kronkelende cement oprijlaan-parken tot 10 auto's! Binnenin het huis wordt u verwend met vier televisietoestellen met DirectTV inclusief een gigantisch flatscreen in de woonkamer. WIFI inbegrepen. Gas open haard, granieten werkbladen en moderne keuken met nieuwe apparaten, waaronder gasfornuis. Binnen in de zonnekamer is een trampoweroefening voor degenen die een training willen. De slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed. Er is een complete badkamer met een jet tub en dubbele ijdelheid van de Meester. De tweede verdieping hoofdslaapkamer aan de rechterkant heeft ook een kingsize bed met een eigen badkamer en dubbele wastafel. Twee andere slaapkamers op deze verdieping delen een halbad en beide hebben queensize bedden. De wasmachine en droger bevinden zich ook op de tweede verdieping. De derde verdieping heeft 3 eenpersoonsbedden en een queensize bed. Uitzicht op de oceaan is te zien op de 2e en 3e verdieping. Met een makkelijke wandeling naar het strand is dit een perfecte locatie om prachtige dolle herinneringen te creëren. Giant voorportaal bevat 4 schommelstoelen om te ontspannen en te luisteren naar het geluid van de golven. Kleine evenementen zijn welkom en kunnen maximaal 50 gasten hosten. Kijk maar naar het aantal vijf sterren beoordelingen die deze accommodatie heeft ontvangen - niet alle eigenschappen zijn hetzelfde. Perfect for family gathering

We stayed at fantasy island for a family vacation. Really enjoyed the front and back porches and convenient beach access. Host was prompt with communication and we had no issues during our stay. House was big enough for everyone to have their own space when needed and livingroom and back porch were able to accommodate everyone at once.

Beach vacation X 10

The house was a good size for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. The third floor sleeping area worked especially well for the kids. 2 girls on one side and 2 boys on the other. Plenty of room! Each family unit had their own bathroom (except the third floor), plus the lavatory off the kitchen. Most bathrooms had hand soap provided but no other toiletries for showering. The kitchen was well equipped. Could have used more than 2 kitchen towels. The dishwasher had some issues but Glenn was quick to respond. It may need some work as it still leaks. We made good use of both porches and the grill during our stay as well as the washer and dryer.Fortunately our daughter drove to the beach house and was able to bring beach chairs, towels, and sand toys. None are provided.It was a lovely, roomy house in which to stay. It was very conveniently located with easy access to the beach.

Perfect Beach House

We loved the location and the house. It was spacious and perfect for a large group. We loved the front porch and being just minutes from the beach. The description of the kitchen and the third floor annex were a little misleading. The kitchen was missing a couple basic items that would have been nice to have such as a large cookie sheet, pepper, and cooking oil. There are 3 single beds on one side of the 3rd floor and two queen beds on the other side. This wasn't a problem, but the description mentioned 2 bedrooms on the third floor and I would have classified the space as one bedroom since there were no doors dividing these two spaces. Neither of these factors impacted our stay, and we would come back in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Folly House

Beautiful house with the best location. Cross the street and you’re at the beach! House fit is perfectly and comfortably. The sun room was lovely to let the kids thrive and catch a breezy snooze in the afternoon. The porch allowed us to relax and feel the sea breeze. Had the best time!

We enjoyed staying at this house and having our Thanksgiving meal here. They had really nice pots and glass jars for our use. there were a few key areas that could have been cleaner, such as mold on the water spout on the refridgerator. The top floor was advertised as two bedrooms but there was no privacy or seperation of the space. The kitchen was open to the living room which really worked for us and the kids really enjoyed the play kitchen on the back porch. The beach chairs and the sand toys were definitely used. While some things could have been better, overall, we were happy with our stay

Perfect location, plenty of space

There were 8 of us, friends for decades. It was a great space for us; however, the 3rd floor is best for kids, as the 5th and 6th bedrooms aren’t walked off from each other. Beach access directly across the street. A nice private home. My group said we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay at Fantasy Island Folly

We had a great time at Fantasy Island Folly! The location was perfect, in a cul de sac directly across the street from the beach! It was a 4-5 min walk and we basking in the sun and sand. There were more than enough rooms to accomodate our group. However, I do wish there was a little more fridge space for all of the food we had and a couple of my guests was hoping for a television in every room(their room did not have one). Overall, I recommend Fantasy Island Folly and would stay there again. Thank you Glenn for being a great host and for always responding so quickly. We really appreciate your hospitality.

We had a great time at the beach and surrounding area. We weren’t as impressed by the cleanliness of the property and lack of cleaning supplies. (We had a spill and were told to buy our own mop) The property also lacked any kind of exercise/fitness equipment, jacuzzi tub was very old and not clean.. All of the kitchen cabinets were filled so there was no where for our groceries. Trash had not been picked up from the last visitors so it was terribly smelly and overfill. Just expected better for the price and based on other reviews

Perfect place for our family to stay while in town for our Folly beach wedding! Very close walk to the beach and convienen to downtown Folly. Sleeps a lot of people, great for large groups. No frills beach house, but perfect for what we needed!

Great Beach Getaway!

House was clean and spacious. Right across from a public beach! It is walkable to downtown, although it’s about a mile. We did have a bit of trouble finding Ubers to downtown Charleston, which we did not expect. But overall the house was comfortable and clean. Only complaint is there was no salt or pepper for cooking, which is not typically something I bring or buy on a trip. Overall, very pleased!

Wedding weekend

We had a large group of family and friends for my daughters wedding this weekend in Charleston. Easy and quick trip to the Port of Charleston, beach access across the street, close enough to the establisments downtown to walk but secluded enough your not bothered by noise, clean, kitchen stocked to prepare meals for 16+ people. Very accommodating for a large party.

Always gather with sister in law and her family. This year it was on the beach. Plenty of room, easy acess to the beach, could walk to town via the beach. Close to Charleston, quick and simple ride to town.

fantastic location, great water pressure, lots of beds, very clean!

The house is as pictured and location is fantastic, it does need to be refreshed, the couch is not great to sit on as some of the cushions go mostly to the floor and make it hard to get up. The run in the main area has many pulled strands, the back porch has a fantastic table and couch but the sliding door glass has all lost its seals and does not look great. It is reasonably priced compared to others in the area.
