We hebben gedacht aan alles wat we zouden willen voor onze familie, en zetten het in ons herenhuis op Folly Beach. Deze woning heeft moderne kenmerken; Plafonds van anderhalve meter beneden geven het een 'Old Charleston' gevoel, open familie / eetkamer / keuken, badkamers voor elke slaapkamer, dekken op beide niveaus (gescreend op lager niveau, prachtig uitzicht, zitplaatsen voor zes), parkeergarage voor twee auto's , hardhouten vloeren, granieten aanrecht, goede opslag, goed uitgeruste keuken. We hebben zelfs in baby-poorten en uitlaat covers, en boeken, games en video's voor de kids!

De slaapkamer beneden is een queensize, er is een vierpersoons stapelbed aan de voorzijde slaapkamer op de bovenverdieping (eenpersoons stapelbed, dubbele bodem, enkele onderschuifbed), en rustige, elegante hoofdsuite met kingsize bed, zithoek, dubbele wastafels , aparte douche en jacuzzi, en grote inloopkast.

Er is een terras uit de master als goed, met mooie moeras en uitzicht op de rivier. Er zijn tv's in elke slaapkamer. Wasruimte is boven. We hebben een gas grill, een gas open haard, sfeerverlichting en een flatscreen-tv boven de open haard en in de master. We hebben high-speed internet, toegankelijk in slaapkamer via een modem.
Beschikt over een gemeenschappelijk zwembad en diep water gemeenschap dock met een goede vissen en voldoende ruimte om vast te binden uw boot. De toegang boot is een korte wandeling (één- blok) verderop.

U kunt lopen naar de onlangs gerenoveerde strand in slechts een paar korte blokken, of om 'de stad' om te eten alles, van tapas tot pizza geweldig ontbijt in de Lost Dog Café. Op minder dan 1,5 km van Folly kunt u verse garnalen van de boten halen en het centrum van Charleston ligt op slechts 15 minuten rijden.

Great location in Folly Beach

What we liked:- Excellent location, quiet, and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and pier. - Lots of space in home for storing clothes and belongings (walk in closet a plus)- Plenty of towels, upstairs washer/dryer, laundry baskets available- Full kitchen with a variety of dishes, pots and pans, cutting boards, coffee pot. Basically everything you need besides groceries- Comfortable bedding - Cabinet of board games- Screened in porch with fan- Smart TVs with some free channels and movies What we didn’t like:- Lots of stairs (which we expected)- Cannot use the grill due to HOA laws- Garage is a tight fit (we had a 2023 Traverse)- At end of stay we had to place all towels and bedding in laundry bags and at the front door which was pretty inconvenient when we were leaving at 6am- Master shower needs updating. Water pressure was not good so we only used it onceOverall nice place and location. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great comfortable place for the family and easy walk to the beach.

It was very well designed with the three bedrooms and three baths. The grandparents stayed in the downstairs bedroom with an adjacent bath and the three kids and mom and dad stayed upstairs in the kids room with bunkbed and trundle pull out. Mom and dad stayed in the master suite upstairs with its own outdoor porch. The kitchen was well equipped and next to the den and the porch outside. It was an easy walk to the beach and restaurants.

Gorgeous beach house

We had a lovely stay at Waters Edge. The house was pristine and communication with the host was helpful and clear. We rented a golf cart which made getting around Folly a breeze. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a Folly holiday.

Great Long Weekend

The house was just the right size for a family of four. We loved that the location was off the beaten path but very close walking distance to the restaurants and not too far from the beach. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. The marsh view from the pool is quite impressive.

Wonderful winter getaway

Our family of 7 spent a week here and loved it! We had plenty of space to relax in the town home (beach home?), and it was easy to access all of the historical sites and restaurants in Charleston. We liked staying in the more relaxed Folly Beach area and driving into Charleston. The kitchen had what we needed to fry fish, make smoothies, and handle the rest of our food needs.

Nice weekend getaway

We came down with our friends and their 2 kids for the weekend. Our first impression was that it smelled like someone had just smoked in the house. The house appeared to be cleaned. The kitchen could've been cleaned a little better but it was ok. We liked how it was decorated and it did feel cozy. We did find a pack of cigarettes on the terrace but overall it was a nice weekend on Folly.

Very cute property and excellent location!

Had an excellent time at this very cute property. The layout feels very spacious and property was very clean. Our Instacart groceries arrived before our arrival and the property manager went above and beyond putting them away. We had 1-dinner out in Charleston and it was just a quick 20 min drive. Highly recommend!

Excellent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the home is well maintained and clean, the location is terrific, and the access to the Folly Beach scene is a very short walk. The beach is only a little further, but not far, although we ended up driving to locations slightly further away (5th street or beyond) and parking. Folly Beach is great, it’s a beach town without the ritzy beach vibe, it’s a true surf beach with great restaurants all within walking distance from this property.

The property was great . The garage was a nice a would definitely hold two cars or trucks. One more vehicle can park in driveway with a pass. Parking is strict . I saw another person posted there was a grill. So I called to ask if there was a grill but was told no. But there is a grill there. May want to take your own gas tank. There is an outside shower also . Kids rooms sleeps four with a pull out trundle bed under the bunk. This unit is a duplex . We had no problems and loved the decor , well supplied kitchen , and appreciate me the place was super clean .

Very clean and comfortable. Property in front of neighborhood so close walk to town. Large garage for plenty of cars. Would suggest that the gas for the grill to be filled. Had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Fantastic place on Folly Beach

The property was fantastic! We had everything that we needed! We especially liked the fact that we could walk to a lot of restaurants and the beach. The beach is about 8 blocks, and the restaurants start at about 5 blocks. They are very explicit in the instructions about what you can and can't do because of the HOA. But none of the requirements are out of line, or affected our trip in anyway.

Couldn’t have asked for more!

Absolutely fabulous. Lots of communication made finding the place and check in simple. We were thrilled to see such beautiful accommodations with plenty of sleeping space for everyone. So many great amenities that we weren’t expecting. The kids loved the bunk beds with trundle bed feature; the screened in deck downstairs and small balcony deck were so nice. Pool and pier nearby were very nice and only a short walk to the beach. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed ourselves and hope we’ll be able to do it again.

Home Away From Home

This place was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a party of 8 with 4 kids ranging from 17 to 23. We cooked the entire stay and the kitchen was well equipped with great cookware and amenities. I just loved the decor and the master suite was so relaxing and spacious. I'm searching for the swivel/glider/rocker chairs located in the den and master suite for my own home. The location was a quick walk to the beach and the private pier was perfect for my husband & son. We look forward to renting this location again. We highly recommend it.
