'Smack bang in the middle of the old town, situated just in the pedestrianised area. Given the location, there is no parking, but we had no problems finding free parking within a 3 minute walk. (I'd recommend a car so that you can visit outlying towns / villages/ mountains.) The hotel does a good continental breakfast between 7 and 10. L'Aquila has plenty of options for bars, restaurants etc.'

'We very much enjoyed our stay here. The owners were kind and personable. The breakfast was very nice, the apartment was large and comfortable - we didn't realize that they offer apartments and air bnb rooms bec we would have opted for the latter rather than the apartment but it was very nice and had a futon if we needed to accommodate additional people. Kitchen with full size fridge, balcony, and nice bathroom. Would definitely recommend. '

'Als je door de Abruzzo reist is dit een prachtige plek om 1 of een paar nachten door te brengen. Het middeleeuwse dorpje Santo Stefano di Sessanio heeft een prachtige ligging, en is (deels) prachtig gerestaureerd. De hotel kamers zijn verspreid in het dorp, en ook deze zijn fantastisch - middeleeuws gecombineerd met design (sanitair). Wij waren erg onder de indruk. Enige nadelen die ik kan bedenken zijn de toeristen (er zijn maar ca.70 inwoners in Santo Stefano) en het bed dat gemaakt is van...

'Very safe environment in CoViD times. Internet does not seem to be working in the rooms, but there is ample space downstairs to work. Food is superb!'

'Nette en vriendelijke ontvangst waarna de poort werd geopend om de auto te parkeren. Met de sleutel kaart in de hand naar de kamer gegaan. Nette, ruime en schone kamer incl. badkamer met (regen) douche. Hotel ligt tegen een bedrijventerrein aan, daardoor meer verkeer, maar dat had ik al gezien tijdens het boeken. Binnen hoor je daar niets van. Op loopafstand 2 grote winkelcentra en diverse leuke restaurants.'

Ontbijt uitstekend, alles voor Italiaanse begrippen voorradig ruime keuze. Geen middag en avondeten, voldoende restaurants in Láquila zelf.'
