Historische voormalige kerk in het hart van de oude stad

Welkom bij The Sanctuary of Fort Collins. Gebouwd in 1902 en aangewezen als een historisch monument door de stad Fort Collins, heeft dit pand het unieke onderscheid dat het de thuisbasis is van zeven verschillende kerken in de geschiedenis van meer dan 100 jaar. We kochten het gedeeltelijk gerenoveerde pand in 2012, voltooiden de renovatie in de komende jaren en hebben het sindsdien tot ons fulltime pension gemaakt. Het beschikt over periode-correcte architecturale elementen, behoudt zijn originele houten vloeren en glas in lood, maar biedt nog steeds de moderne gemakken van vandaag. We hebben ons best gedaan om deze woning zo te maken dat uw verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk wordt.

Er zijn drie slaapkamers, elk met een eigen badkamer en allemaal op verschillende niveaus. Het hoofdniveau van het huis beschikt over een woonkeuken, de hoofdslaapkamer en het bad, een extra half bad en de formele woonkamer met de groot-kleinkind Steinway uit de jaren 1920. De bovenverdieping loft beschikt over een speelkamer en de tweede slaapkamer en bad. De kelder heeft een mediaruimte, wijnkelder, kantoorruimte, wasruimte en de derde slaapkamer en badkamer. Buiten vindt u een schilderachtige binnenplaats, een prieel en een patio om buiten te eten of gewoon te genieten van de tuin.

Als we iets voor u kunnen doen om uw verblijf aangenamer te maken, laat het ons weten. We wonen naast de deur en zijn blij om te helpen wanneer we kunnen. Let op: het koetshuis en de garage zijn niet te huur en kunnen door onze eigen gasten worden bewoond tijdens uw verblijf. Verwacht echter geen storingen als dit het geval is.

Exceptional Stay: Perfect blend of comfort and class!

My family and I recently stayed in this home for 5 nights and we highly recommend it. The location was ideal-peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. Our host, Mark, was incredible regarding communication. The home itself was extremely spacious, warm, inviting, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. It was clear the hosts put great care into every detail- anything we could possibly need was already there, from kitchen essentials and (start-up) coffee, to cozy blankets and complimentary home-made cookies upon arrival. We truly felt like guests in a well-loved home rather than renters. An exceptional experience all around! Thank you so much for having us, Mark! We'd love to return the next time we plan a trip to Fort Collins!

Perfection

What a gorgeous place! We were in town for five days and it quickly felt like home. Three different floors with plenty of room for us all. A great kitchen and dining room where we gathered every morning and evening. Beautiful patio, nice furnishings, comfortable beds. So much attention to detail in every room. The pictures do not do this place justice. It's gorgeous yet comfortable, spacious yet cozy.

Mark and Denise have added many special touches to this beautiful home including plenty of wooden hangers in the master closet, well stocked bathroom toiletries, and first class kitchen. Perfect Fort Collins Property

This old town gem is the perfect space for a group traveling together. Each of the three floors has its own separate bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is not only well stocked but extremely organized. The bathrooms have extras of most basic items you may have forgotten. The owners are nearby and great to work with. This is our second time staying here but definitely not our last.

Great stay in Fort Collins!

My family of 4 had a great stay while visiting for Thanksgiving. Mark is a WONDERFUL host. Communication was great and we were greeted with cookies and a clean, warm home with the lights on! This fun, unique, house had everything we needed - plenty of room for our family, a fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, comfortable beds, extra toiletries, and plenty of room to store our food and clothing. It snowed the day we were leaving and Mark shoveled all the walkways for us! Looking forward to staying here again next time we’re in Fort Collins.

The Sanctuary

This stunning home surpassed all expectations. From the numerous living spaces to the beautiful courtyard, we had more than enough room to spread out and relax when we weren’t out enjoying everything Fort Collins has to offer. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was in perfect condition. Coffee was provided for the Keurig machine which was appreciated by all. Each bathroom was exceptionally clean had a nice assortment of toiletries. Mark and Denise take great pride in their property and were great hosts!

50th Roommate Reunion

We had a great stay, the provisions were great. The only short comings were: 1) We couldn't locate any cushions for the patio chairs. 2) The downstairs bed was way too soft, one person had to sleep on the couch because she couldn't tolerate it but that worked just fine for her. Knives weren't real sharp, but that's minor. It was a beautiful home.

Wonderful property and location!!

We had planned to stay with our 2 kids, but our plans changed so we ended up just the 2 of us in this wonderful house. However, there would have been more than enough room for all of us. The house is gorgeous with a rich history, and Mark and Denise have provided every possible amenity. We especially appreciated the tempurpedic mattress in the master bedroom (my wife has connective tissue issues and a comfortable bed is a must) and the provided blender (which we find is often lacking in short term rental properties). The home was immaculate on our arrival, complete with a plate of fresh baked cookies! Mark and Denise were very responsive with all our questions. Of course, the proximity to Old Town cannot be beat. The next time we come back to Fort Collins (and we come at least once per year to visit family) we will definitely want to stay here!

Incredible stay

I can not say enough about how wonderful our stay was this weekend. The home has so many personal touches including homemade cookies upon our arrival. It is a perfect location close to campus and old town and absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. If my daughter wasn't graduating, we would stay here every time we come to Fort Collins.

We especially liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom and plenty of privacy. This house is amazingly well stocked and the location is excellent, very close to everything in Old Town. It’s also extra clean and full of beautiful light from the big windows.
