'We loved our stay at Prairies Cottage. The property was clean and comfortable, check in information was communicated early and was very easy! We didn’t have tons of time to use the backyard but the kids explored it and it looked like it would be awesome if you have kids and want to be sure they are safe and having fun outside while you make dinner (or while eating dinner!). We have three kids and they loved all sleeping in the one room together! Made an excellent place to stay while we explored...

'The cabin was spotless, the location was perfect, and we felt totally at home. We had everything we needed and then some. The fenced yard made it so easier to travel with our dogs. The only suggestion I have, is to do something about the stickers in the yard,'

The house was very comfortable for two couples and we enjoyed some time out on the front porch. Very convenient for our trips to McDonald Observatory and Davis Mountain State Park. 'Well designed and decoded house. They do have issues with maintaining the home. Trouble getting cleaning help according to the manager. This did put us off to a shaky start. Our dogs were very happy. They must spend a lot keeping the yard covered in nice grass. The back porch gave them plenty of shad. Loved the peace and quit.'

'Great stay for our family of 4! The cabin is very clean & cute, well represented by the photos. It’s very quiet & great for seeing the stars outside your door. Stayed here as we visited Big Bend, Marfa, Ft. Davis. The whole town lost power for a little bit during our stay which caused some issues, but our host was quick to respond & handle the situation. We would definitely stay here again.'
