  • U zult genieten van dit ongelooflijk gelegen strandhuis! Slechts een korte wandeling naar het strand en een paar huizen vanaf de trolleystop die u overal op Estero Island kunt ronddobberen. Handiger wordt het niet!

    Dit huis is compleet met een grote slaapkamer en een tweede slaapkamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden. De perfecte locatie op het midden van het eiland ligt op enkele minuten van Times Square en Lover's Key State Park, Bowditch Point Park, varen, jachthavens, restaurants, bibliotheek, bioscoop en veel winkels!

    Schone en frisse woonkamer met dakramen, tegels en houten vloeren, centrale A / C, open dek plus extra Lanai aan de achterzijde van het huis .. Volledige keuken ook! Great location, easy to get around

Everything worked well, very comfortable and location was awesome. Traffic was horrible but we never dealt with it being the location was so great. Access to the beach very close, had chairs and umbrellas to use, free beach trolley took us into the Shrimp festival so we didnt have to drive. All in all, a great vacation with the kids

This was kind to a rollercoaster of an emotional experience. Upon check in it was very clear that the pictures of the listing were pre-IAN and the house has been through a lot since then. I actually pulled up the listing pictures multiple times as we were initially walking through the home to make sure we were in the right place- it was that different.There are clear safety issues with the stairs, and deep cleanliness issues. There were toe nail clippings all over the primary bedroom when we got there, dirty windowsills and vents. Linens did smell/seem clean accept for the blood stain in the master comforter.The pros are location, easy walk to the beach and amenities such as sand toys, coffee, condiments, books, DVDs.Once I got over the initial shock, we had a fine time although VRBO is as unhelpful when I asked for a partial refund due to the deception and lack of safety on the steps. I just feel cat fished honesty AND the other negative reviews were posted long after we booked so we went in really blind.

Escape the winter

Was the a great place for a long weekend getaway to beat the winter blahs. Very short walk to the beach!Traffic backed up on main road during certain hours, but since we were close to beach, no driving required! Could have been due to rebuilding in the area.

A wonderful stay!

The house is very comfortable and everything works perfectly. It's very near to the beach and located in a quiet neighborhood. We have really appreciated the covered parking below the house and the very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay and loved that we could walk to the beach and to a great spot for breakfast. We wanted to stay an extra day, but unfortunately the unit needed to be prepped for new guests. However, the host was very quick to respond to our request.

Property was as listed. Plenty of extra amenities, toiletries, furnished kitchen, dish soap, beach towels and chairs. Only a short walk to the beach. Can walk to Time Square or take the tram, which stops nearby. Close to great eateries. Perfect get away for 4 sisters from Minnesota to escape the cold.

Bad experience

The property needs some serious attention, we understand there has been hurricanes in the last 2 years that have cause tons of damage in the area. But at the same time the host needs to make the proper repairs/maintenance to keep it a good place to stay not run down and needing repairs.

What we needed

The area was hard hit by Ian in 2022, and recovery has apparently been slow. This property smehow survived. It is small, and a few things did not work, but we - a family of 4 - managed. Ed, the host, communicated well. We mostly had the beach to ourselves.

Girls Trip Great Stay

The location was perfect. Short walk across the road to a quiet beach. Close to Publix for quick groceries. The house was well stocked. Love having twin beds for a girls get away and THREE FULL bathrooms. Cute outside space for breakfast. The umbrellas and beach chairs were a bonus as well as a small cooler. A wagon or beach cart would have been a nice touch since the straps on two of the beach chairs are broke and unable to carry on your back. But overall was a great stay and would definately book again. The home is a bit older but kept up well, with a bonus of a dishwasher. Breakfast place nearby but unfortuantely our stay was short and did not make it there. Check in/out was easy.

Nice spot!

This house sits within walking distance of the beach and a few restaurants. We didn’t get a car and used Uber to get around. The host of the house responds quickly to any questions. The house came with many extras I didn’t expect. There we’re toiletries, lotion, plenty of towels, coffee, shampoo and soap. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect location

Location, location, location. The beach was literally right across the street and very secluded away from the huge crowds. Time Square and the fishing pier is an enjoyable mile walk. The house was extremely clean with three bathrooms with showers. A major bonus. They had plenty of beach chairs, beach towels and a beach umbrella for us to use. That just made our week so much better. We fell in love with Ft. Myers.

While the property was clean. It was very old and run down. It is in the middle of a construction zone. Hammering and dump trucks all day There was no outdoor space to enjoy. Hurricane Ian hit the area very hard. It was right across the street from a lovely beach area.

I feel this property falsely advertised the condition of the home. This is the wirdt VRBO have stayed in and it will be difficult to trust booking future from this site. PROPERTY: I believe the condition of the property are remnants of past hurricanes or neglect. Rotten unsafe outdoor wooden stairs and decking, no working outside light (visible wires hanging), holes or old skylights with plywood nailed over and visible, original pictures appeared as drywall-spots of plaster were there ? Mold cover up, at least one bathroom had constant sewer smell, rotten outside door frame and not secured well. Windows so old unlikely would open in the event of a fire. I smoke detectors were old and when tested didn’t work well. Screened in deck was weathered moldy looking wood and missing ceiling fan- ceiling hole remained. No furniture in the posting was actually there. Guide book showed deeded beach access and landmarks, houses/landmarks are wiped out and you have to cross construction sites to get to the beach. AREA: no matter how much we researched this they are still recovering. The road we were on had no working light posts- very dark. On Google Maps it looked like there was a neighborhood behind this house, change to terrain and you’ll see every house was wiped out and only roads remain. The other houses on this same street are new builds or actively going through remodel, except this house we stayed in. Beaches were unkept and not pleasant. Northbound traffic is ridiculous everyday

Our family stayed at this property just before Christmas. We had a great time at Fort Myers Beach and the surrounding area. That being said, this property has not been very well maintained. We arrived at night and the only lighting was solar lights on the stairway, which is in complete disrepair. Giants splits in the stringers and chunks of rotten wood had fallen on the ground. Screw heads exposed and the screws not even holding on to any wood. It’s the only means of egress. One of the toilets was unusable due to a major leak from rusted bolts. Where the water poured out was a rust stain on the floor so this must have been an ongoing issue. The water smelled like rotten eggs and took 2 full days to subside. The surfaces like the counter, cabinets and tables had not been cleaned in a while, quite dusty. There was a nice screened porch off the back through the master bedroom but like I said there was no outside lighting so we used our phone lights so we could enjoy the space after dark. The location of this house is the best part. Very short walk to the beach and about a mile to Times Square. I did not want to put a bad review out but I have emailed contact person twice and have not heard back. Very surprised this place got 10/10 reviews. It’s a great location but the house needs a lot of TLC.
