Great place for visiting family on Sanibel. Pool is nice. We were in the Captiva tower, which at first felt like we were given the short end of the stick but the tower was more quiet, views were great, and the pool area was much more private than the main pool.

Excellent customer service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Service around the pool was very slow, but it seemed to be because of few staff, not that anybody wasn’t working hard. A magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be very helpful. Otherwise, rooms are wonderful.

Make sure you know what tower you’re staying in. Captiva tower is not nearly as nice and is quite inconvenient. If you want to experience the resort, stay at Sanibel tower.

The buildings are spread out. I was put in the captiva building. I was told it was a 3 minute walk. I tried to drive to the main building and was told to go back to my building and call a shuttle. The pool was never vacuumed the 4 days I was there. I was not impressed.

Pools were nice. On-site restaurant was average. Breakfast buffet food was cold. Floors in restaurant were sticky. Traffic around resort was terrible. You couldn’t leave property without sitting in traffic. A 5-minute ride to a restaurant turned into an hour easily. Housekeeping under-staffed. Our room was only cleaned once during our 5-day stay and we had to request the room clean despite being out of the room for most of the day. We had to call and request clean towels. As the week went on and the resort became busier, pool and beach towels were unavailable to guests.

The property is at the harbor. I was looking for a hotel by the beach. Depending on the traffic, I had to drive 15 - 20 minutes to the beach. There are a few restaurant options at the hotel. Otherwise, you have to drive to get to other places.
I chose an ocean-view room... Sunset, sunrise, and the sound of the water through the night was amazing.

This place was really nice. We have usually stayed out on Sanibel but as they continue to rebuild we thought we’d try this as an option. The rooms were very clean, the view over the bay was amazing during sunset. We even were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming right I from out window. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The pool was very nice beciase it was heated really well. The days were warm but the evenings cooled off making the heated pool even better. The breakfast buffet was very good. An adequate amount of options and there was a chef that would cook you and omelette if you wanted. The only small issue we had was getting a couple extra blankets. It took them 2 days, a couple phone calls to the desk and then a final stop at the desk. But once we had them we were good to go. Still a 5/5 from us!

Well if you want to stay in the main building you must confirm it as we were tossed into another building 5 min walk away with no amenities. If you book on Expedia they mention nothing about this. If you book a suite and you see the bridge in pictures that room is not part of the main hotel.

The venue was beautiful and clean. Most of the staff was friendly and accommodating, unfortunately we had to go to the front desk 3 times to ask for housekeeping to come. At one point I called the front desk because we were very low on toilet paper but no one came. Also, if a guest would like a shuttle ride to the entrance of property, the attendants should be allowed to do so.

Nice rooms and would be good in summer.
Beautiful pool views. But in winter nothing to do and isolated. Tarpon restaurant is not attractive but the food is very good.

Bra läge!
Mycket trevligt hotell med allt vad man kan behöva. Fint poolområde och gym. Vårt rum hade sjöutsikt och varje kväll var det fantastiska solnedgångar från balkongen.
Vi nyttjade inte deras restauranger men på gångavstånd finns en toppenrestaurang som vi verkligen kan rekommendera "Bimini Bait Shack".
Ta gärna en tur till Captiva island, jättefina stränder. Vi åkte även till Fort Myers beach som också var jättetrevlig med en hur lång strand som helst.
Det finns fortfarande spår efter stormen 2022 men de håller på och renoverar för fullt. Luktar fukt i rummet när man kommer in.
