'So happy to stumble on this quaint little western casita village so close to Big Bend, but off the beaten path. Also glad we took the truck because the road in is not for the meek. Beautiful scenery and sunsets & really enjoyed exploring Terlingua. Loved our stay.'

'Was in the area for extended weekend and stayed at XB. Place is in perfect place to enjoy desert and has beautiful scenery. We really enjoyed our time on the porch. Town with restaurants and stores is near about 20 min away. Phones (Verizon) worked well at property. Room and bath were clean and everything worked as should. Thank you for memorable stay wife and kids are already planning next vacation there.'

'Found this property on Vrbo when we were planning our trip to Big Bend. Pictures don't do it justice. Very peaceful, quiet, and the views are absolutely stunning. The house itself was awesome, very well designed and very clean. My wife and son of 2.5 years accompanied me on the trip. One of the best parts of this, and very important to me, was the communication by the owners via phone and text before, during, and after our stay. 'You are really by yourself in a lovely cottage in a canyon, you can hear the highway about 1/2 mile in front of the cabin, but you really don't see it, you feel like you are out there by yourself, very nice, nice hiking trail up the hills behind you. Nice front porch and screened in back porch. It rained a lot while we were there, and the rain sounded great on the front porch roof.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at the dome. The dome is small but still spacious. There are 2 plug outlets that can hold only cell phone/tablet/watch. No cell phone service (tmobile). The host did a really good job at giving instructions on how to get to the property as we lost cell service. The entrance to Big Bend is 20 minutes. The seclusion of the property was great! I would stay again if we decide to visit another time. '

'Loved the cabin. Super cute decorated inside. Very well kept and equipped with all household items needed. Loved the outside area. Wrapped around porch with nice seating areas and even out in the dessert had a couple more chair areas to chill with your family and soak up the peace and quiet of the place. We all loved the view all day long. We had planned to go to Big Bend and my kids preferred to come back to the cabin and just enjoy the scenery and the peace. We look forward to coming back and...

'Cabin was precisely as described. The 360 views from the property are amazing! Outdoor shower is a good touch. The cabin is about as close as you can get to camping without really camping. LOL. Justin was great and extremely responsive to questions. This was a great base camp for us as we hiked Big Ben all week. Property is really close to the park, restaurants and grocery store…Overall, great experience and we will be back soon!!'
