'The room was fantastic with a bay window high up overlooking the street. It was well furnished with a very comfortable bed and we had a great nights sleep. The only downside was the bathroom which was 'compact' (not really a problem) but the shower did not work well in that that it never got beyond just above cold and had a miserable trickle of water. We spoke to staff before leaving and they were appalled that this had happened and were going to get it looked at. Overall, very happy to stay...

'First visit here and very pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 7pm and immediately you could feel it had a very good ambience. It was busy with most people enjoying an eveing meal. 'Our first time at the Blue Bell, but won’t be our last! Really comfortable beds and pillows in a nice room with a lovely new bathroom. Food was excellent and all the staff, from Keith , the landlord, down, are friendly, kind and helpful, and all were happy in their jobs. We will be back! '

'vlakbij treinstation, ideaal wanneer je met het openbaar vervoer reist. hotel heeft een nieuwe eigenaar en alles is opnieuw geverfd en het interieur van het hotel en de slaapkamers is allemaal vernieuwd. ziet er goed uit. het ontbijt "continental"mag uitgebreider zijn o.a met kaas, vleeswaren en een gekookt ei. verder zou ik de menukaart ook uitbreiden met meer europese gerechten. 'Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money. Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky. TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer. A few minor issues that could be improved upon are; TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible. "The bathroom was poor quality with water stopper that was stuck closed. The bedroom itself was fine, but there was an incredibly bright green emergency light that lighted the entire room during the night. It wasn’t possible to turn this off.
