'Let me start by saying every staff member I met during my week stay were all wonderful. However, this hotel has a nerve charging a "$45.95 per day resort fee"! This is a glorified motel that smells like feet, dogs, a high-school loccer room and old cigarettes combined, no matter where you turn! The carpet in the room 212 was literally sticky! I stayed for a week, and the room wasn't cleaned once!!! Now let's turn our attention to the, "Green Bathtub", I mean the pool. Can we say fisheye lenses...

'Great place to stay. Close to beaches, Chesterton Market, Michigan City. and more.. Just off interstate. Staff were so helpful. Decent breakfast. We only received 1 hand towel, should have asked for more. We would definitely stayhere again.'

'Everything was great, and the staff was awesome. However, the elevator was VERY dirty, and the tiled walkway to the elevator was very wet. The entrance to the pool is right next to the elevator'

Room was very clean, quite large (although that didn't really matter since we weren't in the room all that much) but most importantly, the shower was great! Oftentimes, the shower in a hotel is a letdown and leaves me feeling a bit unsatisfied, but the showers at this particular location were fantastic.'

'Did not even have a coffee pod in my room. Boxes upon boxes stacked in the dirty front desk area. Building and grounds grossly neglected. Was not expecting it to be this bad. My advice to the front desk woman was to sell the property asap. Avoid until massive renovations are done.'

'Stay here if you want to hear intimate moments of your neighbors waking you through the night. I'm not a prude. The walls and doors are paper thin. Dirty entry to building.Dirty halls, Dirty room. Moldy shower. Yellow gunk, hair and God knows what else thriving behind the bathroom door. The elevator cried with every move, beat up, wallpaper ripped, chunks of paint knocked off the sad walls. The whole place smelled like dog pee. This needs torn down or shut down and sanitized and rebuilt. Gross.'

'Pulling into the motel the roof looked a mess and when my husband went in to register the lobby smelled awful and the chairs were torn and dirty. We contacted Expedia and they called the manager who refused to let them can the reservation. The room was ok, nice bed and tv. Bathroom needed work/repairs.'

'Very run down. Mold in the shower. Missing security bolt from door. All rooms were supposed to be non -smoking but everything reeked off cigarettes, including the hallway. Comfortable bed, clean linens are a definite plus. Breakfast was cold cereal and hostess mini donuts. Police were called two out of three nights to handle domestic disturbances.'

'Hotel room was extremely dated it look like they bought all the furniture from a thrift store the couch and desk chair was made of leather and it was peeling real bad and the bed was made cheaply only reason I couldn’t leave cause all the other hotels were booked'

'Once a fine hotel, this place is in total disrepair - and has been for several years. Trash in the parking lot and behind the building, unemptied trash cans. Tv - didn't work. Furniture looked cheap, old and scuffed up. These things were obviously bought at the hotel auctions when nicer properties get rid of dated things for pennies... and then placed here. Entire facade of the building has been removed. Don't let them say it was the tornado - it looked awful before that. Take my advice,...
