'This is a historic home that is beautifully restored to its glory, and tastefully outfitted with the modern conveniences one hopes for. very comfortable. Plus it is right there along the Mississippi, with the barges and ships moving up and down. Logan's communications were excellent--clear and straightforward.'

Convenient drive to Winona (about 10 minutes). We largely explored small towns on the the Wisconsin side north and south of Fountain City. Some nice views from local bluffs. Buena Vista up in Alma was quite nice. Logan was remarkably responsive to communications.'

A quick drive takes you to a cute little downtown area with plenty of options for a drink or lunch. We had a nice dinner at Sullivans Supper Club. Would stay again.
