'Clean room and breakfast. Fan provided. Easy parking on the main road, free. We were hoping to wash our clothes while staying there since laundry is listed 2x on Expedia amenities but it cost us an additional time and 10 euros at a laundromat. When asked they said to go to a laundromat and they don’t have it available. So their listing should be updated. Unfortunately their restaurant next door was closed during our stay. The front staff was only there at check in and we didn’t see them again...

'The hotel and the rooms are recently refurbished, very clean and spacious. The surrounding village is quiet and gorgeous and the local residents are friendly. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The owner is friendly, helpful and accommodating. The only aspect that could improve significantly was the breakfast - both the quality and the variety of the food, especially as there are no alternative cafes nearby.'

'Hotel is netjes, maar gedateerd. Dat is overigens best leuk voor een of een paar nachten. Het diner was een grote teleurstelling, echt niet lekker. Wordt waarschijnlijk ‘s middags gekookt en ‘s avonds uit warmhoudbakken opgeschept. Gaarkeuken idee. Omdat er niks in de buurt is zonder de auto te moeten gebruiken, ben je tot dit eten veroordeeld. Echt heel jammer, anders zouden we het hotel zeker aanraden.'

'Leuk hotel met een zeer gastvrije eigenaar. Ontbijt was gewoontjes maar je kon er 's avonds goed eten. Zeer gezellige sfeer.'

'We stayed here one night before starting a 3-day trek in Picos de Europa. The hotel was charming, clean and comfortable, the staff was really helpful, and there was free parking across the street where we were able to leave our car during our trek. Las Arenas is a cute mountain town, and everything was easily walkable, including an excellent restaurant across the street, and a bus we took to Sotres for the start of our hike.'
