'We loved the cottage. Large terrace , beautiful views over the sea, large ferries you could set the clock by, forests and small boats. There were few gulls this year, but large flocks of ravens. Even though there were several holiday cottages around, and you could hear people, but you never saw anyone from the terrace. It was not overlooked, and quite private. The road from the main road to the cottage was quite rough with potholes, but as long as you kept the speed low, it was not a problem....

'Eine ganz hervorragene Unterkunft, sehr gepflegt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Wilde Natur. Meer. Felsen. Ein magischer Ort, den wir bestimmt wieder aufsuchen werden. Der Host ist sehr gut erreichbar und überaus freundlich. Äußerst empfehlenswert!'

'We enjoyed it very much to stay in this beautiful beach house on a very quiet place with view on the sea and surrounded with trees, on a short walking distance to the beach. The owner gave us a warm welcome and all instructions needed for the house and boat which could be rented. The house was very clean and had lots of comfort, all equioement you could need was available. We liked the living room and the two terraces from which you had a nice view on the see. Both terraces with chairs outside...

'Fantastic property - great location, wonderful nautical feel to the family house. Right on the harbor and the house had a rowboat and paddleboards our family really enjoyed! Within walking distance to a grocery store. Fully outfitted indoors and out: BBQ, outdoor chairs/tables, boat house. TV, books to read (english og norsk).We had a wonderful, relaxing time here - one of the nicest places we have stayed as a family. We would highly recommend! 'We had an amazing time here with our family, although the weather wasn’t great but we enjoyed the jacuzzi, the amazing view, and the great hikes we could do in the neighbourhood.'

'Not a great stay, but location was excellent. Funky smell in the entry floor. TV didn't work - streaming not possible. Bed too big for the main floor bedroom (can't open door and also closet at the same time), a paring knife broke while we were using it (real safety issue), and overall not a coxy feel. '

"Goed hotel, locatie ook handig voor dagtrip Oslo. Let op: parkeer niet op plein (belachelijk duur) maar in parkeergarage. Vriendelijke incheck. Ruime kamers, goed bed, nette badkamer. Raam kan open voor frisse lucht. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Hotel beschikt over dakterras. Minpunt op dag 3 en 4 was er een grote conferentie van international bedrjf en die leken veel belangrijker dan de normale particuliere gasten. Het personeel kwam ook gestresst/ gespannen over. Houdt aub altijd meer san een.hoekje in de ontbijtruimte vrij voor de normale gast want dit was niet gastvriendelijk geregeld of pas met voorbereiden na ontbijttijd. Handdoekenservice via receptie."
