'Enjoyable stay'

'Shower had a draining issue and in room fan was pretty noisy (hence we couldn't use it). Nonetheless, overall it was a decent stay.'

'Quiet room in the lodge, good tea facilities clean room if a little tired. Shower works well but could do with fixing and the shower door should be at the other end. Towel radiator doesn't seem to work, I hung my towel on the door and the cleaner put it back on the towel rail so it was still damp in the evening. Not enough lighting in the room. Food in the pub was good.'

'Just great - unique and cosy - the most comfortable bed ever'

'Lovely old inn with well appointed clean rooms. Had evening meal which was excellent. Breakfast was also well cooked and delicious. It had a lovely ambience.'

'A very attractive place. The dogs, cat and people on the farm were all very welcoming. The rooms upstairs were a little hot, but it was 32 °C outside. The garden, especially the big tree, were a blessing. We enjoyed our last full English breakfast, before we headed back home. '

'Great hotel, lovely rooms and lounge areas. Food in the restaurant was excellent: good choice at a reasonable price. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.'

'Smallest bathroom I’ve seen; maybe 4’x4’'

'It reminded us a bit of Faulty Towers. Very English, not so modern. But very clean and totally fine for the night.'

'A nice and traditional pub, perfect for a one night stay. Situated next to a busy crossroad, and sometimes a bit noisy because of the traffic.'

'Friendly owners with high service level!'

'Good place for a short stay. Busy road in front of the rooms until ~11 pm. Nice places to sit inside & outside the pub. Atmosphere is very friendly and the Engish Breakfast was good.'

'Friendly staff, English charm'
