Relaxing and beautiful
The views from the balcony and from the main bedroom are amazing. It is literally steps to one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. The location is great: just 10 minutes to the grocery store and to lots of nice restaurants. Paige and Charles were very kind and responsive.

Great location, clean, PERFECT!
We stayed at the condo for 5 nights. Location is perfect: right on the beach and close to all the sights! It was clean & convenient with necessities. Check in was easy & the hosts are gracious and communicated well! Only 2 things to mention is there are several stairs to get up into the 2-floor condo and there was no snorkel equipment available to use as the listing says. Otherwise, a 5 star rental!!

Amazing Views
This property has the most amazing views from the master bedroom and the living room. We loved listening to the ocean as we laid in bed. The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The condo provides easy assess to the beach for walking and swimming. A restaurant and beach bars are within walking distance as well. If you have a rental car there is abundant parking. The condo is clean and provides a great comfortable vacation feel. The beds were extremely comfortable, too!

Grand Bahamas hat wunderschöne Strände, tolle Restaurants, freundliche Menschen und ist super für einen Kurzurlaub bis zu 1 Woche Wir sind mit einem Scooter fast über die ganze Insel gefahren, sogar bis zum Gold Rock Beach! Unser Apartment war von der Aufteilung sehr schön, der Blick war super und auch die Lage am Strand - leider aber war das Apartment schon sehr verwohnt. Es muss dringend ein wenig renoviert und um-dekoriert werden. Zu viele alte Dinge stehen und hängen dort. Der alte Teppich in den Schlafzimmern geht garnicht mehr. Möbel zum Teil kaputt und/oder sehr abgenutzt Der Kabelsalat bei den TVs geht auch nicht Wir legten keinen Wert auf TV aber wir bekamen auch nur einen an Auch die Außenanlage müsste mehr gepflegt werden. Man fährt in die Straße am Island Seas Resort vorbei die sehr gepflegt ist und dann kommt man in die eigene Anlage …. Büsche schneiden, Rasen harken etc und nach kurzer Zeit sähe es schon anders aus. Pooldeck streichen ist auch kein großer Aufwand Schade für die Anlage Ein großes Dankeschön an Charles - durch ihn war unser Aufenthalt problemlos Sehr hilfsbereiter Mensch Generell müsste auf den Strassen auf Müllbeseitigung geachtet werden und an den Stränden wie überall auf Müll u Plastik Trotzdem waren die Strände wunderschön und das türkisfarbene Wasser ein Traum

Last minute change in plans
Upon arrival our cell phones were not working even though we have the International plan (we have Verizon) so we waited til some neighbors arrived and we were able to use their phone to call for our check in. The place is quite dated and well worn (drains that don’t drain, shower heads that need replacing, carpet very old)so it was just a different experience than what we were expecting. The beach was nice, the water warm but literally the area is not very nice- litter everywhere, broken glass on the beach and just a not nice vibe. The local people were friendly and helpful but I doubt we will return to this island.

I must say that the location and view is beautiful. Overall the condo was clean and comfortable. However there were very annoying things. No elevator, so walked up 3 flights of stairs with luggage. There was no soap in any of the bathrooms. The water pressure was very low so it was not great taking showers. The master toilet plugged up. The master sink does not drain well. So we resolved to not using that bathroom. The water went out 'off' on one evening came back on early the next morning. When on vacation one shouldn't have to think about these things. I won't stay again.

Hello Mr. Hanna, I wish your stay would have been better. If there was an issue with the plumbing you should have reach out to the property manager or me. Neither of us heard from you about plumbing, soap or water pressure. If you don't tell us there is an issue, then we cannot address it. I have no control over when GBI water will turn the water off and on. We are not notified when they will be doing maintenance. As for the stairs, it clearly states in the property description there is not an elevator. Kindest regards, Paige

We love Freeport. The condo was perfect for our family. It sits right on the ocean with the most amazing views even from the bedroom. We woke up every morning to the sounds of the ocean and a nice breeze. The condo has a great selection of books and 2 inflatable kayaks to use. We will come back for sure:)

View is outstanding Always hear the Ocean Several restaurants are within walking distance Condo was clean Beach is always accessible but tides have to be considered Pool is clean but temp is dependent on weather. Condo has some minor repair items, like screen / doors, but did not impact stay. This is a 12 unit complex so there were times when it was noisy. Stairs must be considered, 2 full flights for upper units. Not handicap accessible. The caretaker, Speedy, always assisted with any issues immediately. Grocery stores are relatively close but transportation is needed. The beaches and water are beautiful and you can walk to the pier to fish. The area appears relatively safe and we never felt threatened. Although we we solicited by locals daily. We did walk the beaches barefoot but there is glass that has to be watched for. Overall it is a good place to stay. We may have overpaid for our stay as we were told by several of the occupants that they were paying as much as half of our rate. So advise to compare.

This was everything I was looking for. Extremely relaxing, clean and well stocked with everything you'd need. The view was a million dollar view from both upstairs and down. At night I kept my slider open to the warm ocean breeze and the sound of the waves gently hitting the shore. I didn't even need the air conditioning. Speedy (our go to gal) was amazing.

There is so much that we loved. The pictures do not do the location justice. If you're into touist trap type stuff this might not be the place for you. If you enjoy falling asleep and waking to the sound of the ocean, easy access to the beach, easy access to a resort w/ swim up pool bar and spa and a local restaurant "Bernie's", then you will love this place.

Great view!!
This condo has the greatest view!! The photos don't do it justice. We so enjoyed staying here. The owner is wonderful to deal with. If you are still deciding where to go, I urge you to consider this condo. The Bahamian people are a delight....always warm, witty and optimistic even is the light of the Dorian disaster last fall. This condo is among two small condos so there are not a lot of people on the beach or at the pool. Go to the Tuesday night seafood and ribs feast about 500 yards walking left as you leave the condo, Best bon fire! Go to the $2 bar....fascinating group of locals. Go to Garden of the Groves...lush and beautiful. Mostly sit with the wonderful Bahamian people.....you will enjoy and laugh in every conversation. Book it today!

I was upset by this listing, it sounded perfect with the miles of endless beach to walk, except there is no beach in front of this unit. We had to use the beach at the resort next door to go into the ocean. A few changes should be made thats listed under the property. The kayaks are ruined, the cooler is broken, there are no beach towels, the bath towels are old and need to be replaced, also so do all the shower curtains. The tubs were stained dirty. Not a place I would recommend. Also not in a great location. Glad we rented a car to be able to travel to the nicer areas and enjoy beaches elsewhere.

I wish you would have reached out to me if you were dissatisfied with the property. If I do not know there is an issue while you are a guest, I cannot rectify or help. Even thou you broke our trash can, I did not withhold any of your damage deposit. I know accidents happen. Next time, maybe consider reaching out to the owner before blasting them on a public forum. without giving them a chance to help.

Die Anlage & Wohnung war super & hat alles was es versprochen hat. Die pure Erholung und Entspannungsort. Ein Auto sollte gemietet werden um die Sehnwürdigkeiten zu sehen in um einkaufen zu gehen. Die Einheimischen sind sehr, sehr freundlich und nett. Ich kann die Anlage nur mit den besten Noten weiterempfehlen!

This was our first time staying at Cannes, and we were impressed. The unit was neat, clean, and had everything we needed. The grounds of the property were beautifully landscaped, and well cared for. Love the location, beach access was 50 ft.
Master bedroom had an ocean view and when to sleep every night listening to the waves. Some of the grocery items were expensive. The drive to Paradise Cove wasn't worth it. People we met were very friendly. Recommend renting a vehicle if you want to tour the island. Taxi's are expensive. We loved our time in the Bahamas

Paradise by the Ocean
This condo has some of the most amazing views in Freeport. The owners have provided everything you need to enjoy your stay from towels, even beach towels, to snorkeling gear! The white sand beach and clear water will amaze you!! We definitely felt like we were right at home which speaks volumes to me about just how much thought Paige has put into her home away from home. We loved the decor too! The bed was comfy and I slept great in the master. My 14 year old daughter loved having her own room and I felt safe enough to leave her at the condo to enjoy some couple time as well. The area is great and close to everything! The condo was clean upon arrival. It is on the second floor of the complex which gives amazing views and great air flow too! Both bedrooms are on the top floor and there is even a full bathroom downstairs with a stand up shower. This condo would sleep 6 easily with room to stretch out! You will definitely enjoy your stay here. I would recommend to family and friends for sure! TIPS: -Heads up the groceries on the island are expensive. We paid double for just about everything compared to Texas. -Don’t be in a hurry lol! You are on what I like to call “island time.” Service at the restaurants is very slow. -if renting a car definite go with Brads rental or KSR. You will pay half compared to the big names brands. Also go smaller if you can to save on fuel. -The dive shop right around the corner “Odyssey” is ALOT cheaper than the place by the market for gear if you want to purchase a wet suit.

Amazing property!!
Everything you need is in this home! Tons of room with 1,500 sq feet, our party of four had all the room we needed. Highly recommend renting a car at Brads Car Rental at the airport. In the long run it's cheaper than getting taxis! Beautiful property and view of the ocean. We will be back for sure!

Location
This two-level apartment is a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of a large city. It's got the fundamentals: Clean, A/C, spacious, TV (smart TV), kitchen and a lot of space (for a couple or small family). But, it's the location that makes this a great getaway. The property sits on a crystal clear beach that stretches west and east. Very little traffic on the beach (we were there in September). While the property and adjacent properties are aged, it doesn't discount the experience. There is also a small pool area if you want to take a break from the ocean. We spend 2-3 weeks a year in Freeport/Nassau and we very much enjoyed this experience versus the hotel experiences we have previously had. I would also note that Paige (apartment owner) was very proactive via email and bent over backwards to ensure we had an enjoyable visit!

this condo is really fantastic and the view is breathtaking. we are a Dutch family of 5 in total (3 kids) and we stayed for 1 week in this condo of Paige. the condo is fully equipped and we enjoyed the 3 kayaks as well. perfect spot and close to activities. but not a big complex what we enjoyed because don't like the big tourist accommodations. we would recommend this condo. thanks Paige for using your condo it was a wonderful week on grand Bahamas. lisette de Reus

Just left today! Can't wait to go back!
This was everything we wanted it to be! I can't think of a single thing that we didn't have that we missed! We did have some growing pains at the start of the stay, but it had NOTHING to do with the unit at all! On Sunday night, there was a power outage along the entire street! But it wasn't too bad. I went upstairs and laid in the bed wiyh the sliding door open and had the breeze blowing in and listened to the crashing of the waves on the beach! In fact, I was so relaxed that I didn't know when the power came back on because I fell asleep! We also ordered a dominos pizza that night which never showed! But we called back the next day and they delivered it right out! The beach is amazing! We liked how walkable the beach is. By that, I mean that the sand is packed well and you don't sink in it while you're walking. In the water, the sand is silky smooth! We pretty much had the beach to ourselves all week long. The closest people were at the Island Seas resort Bout 100-150 yards away to the right. We ate at Manta Ray just to the left of the condo twice. It's about a 5 minute walk. Just past that is Bernie's Tiki Bar. It was awesome! I suggest the pan fried lobster tails! My mom got the bbq ribs and my wife got the bbq chicken. Everyone lived it. On Tuesday night he had a huge bonfire on the beach. You can also go right next door to the Island Seas resort and go to the Coconuts outdoor bar for drinks or food. Be patient though, they are undermanned and the wait can be a little bit. Catherine is the property manager and she was great! Her sister, Michelle, was our taxi driver for the week! The two of them combined, we wanted for nothing! They made our stay so easy and convenient! There's so much more I could say, but I'll be typing forever! So I'll just say that we can't wait to go back!

Perfect Ocean Breeze
You will not be disappointed with a stay at Cannes Village. Wonderful view of the ocean and relaxing sounds of waves rolling on the beach. The unit had everything we needed for an awesome weeks rental . The listing photo's do not do the beach view justice. A very relaxing experience! Overall, the west half of the island shows sign of the hurricane and tornado's damage from last October, looks like a slow recover process will occur. The east side of the island is much less populated and offers great beach experiences for those with rental car at Gold Rock Beach, Pelican Point Beach and Crab Cay, almost (and did) have these locations entirely to ourselves. You can water taxi from the condo's next door island seas resort to some of the closer beaches if you do not have a car. We highly recommend booking Shelton Barr's tour with captain Philip Kemp "PK" at the wheel. PK's boat leaves from port lucaya marketplace (Bell channel bay). You will tour east down the shore seeing some of the local "big beach and canal houses", dolphins, anchor off a reef for snorkeling and spear fishing by SB, motor further to a small off shore island east of the Grand Lucayan Waterway for more snorkeling (we swam with sea turtles), then wrap the tour up with a late lunch (seafood speared by SB) cooked over an open beach fire and return to dock. The tour ran from 8:30 - 4:30, Shelton even picked us up and returned us to the condo. Best tour on the island we think! Grocery's are available at Solomon's, adult beverage are available at Butler & Sands duty free (port lucaya marketplace), all easy to get to by car. Was surprised to see the lack of fresh seafood market on the island, guess most people eat out! A very short walk east down the condo's beach is the manta ray restaurant, food was adequate, the view is great, drinks are cold! Sunday night is Jazz night with live music, it is busy! Best dining we had on the island was the tour's beach lunch (lobster was in season) and Michele's beach shack west of island seas resort...never made it to Bernies. The port lucaya marketplace has numerous places to eat. Swimming out in front of the condo is great, gentle waves and soft sand. If you are a strong swimmer, snorkel off the canal just to the east. Expect a stronger current and colder water but you will see fish. We saw ray & bonefish directly in front of the condo. Wow, wonderful trip...thanks Paige!

Well equipped and beautifully decorated
This condo is in great location with clean, swimmable beach that is shallow. Pool was beautiful, but was too cold to swim in while we were there in late March. Our unit was beautifully decorated and clean. Very well equipped, there were kayaks, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, cooler on wheels, beach umbrellas, portable crib, computer and printer, spices, decent pots and pans, lots of dishes, utensils, etc. I have rented through VRBO at least a dozen times and have never had a more beautiful or well equipped place. It is a second floor unit and the stairs are steep, so carrying luggage and heavy items was challenging. The water pressure was poor, especially in the upstairs bathrooms. We had to delay our showers one morning as we only got air and drips of water from the faucets. Bernie's and Manta Ray Village are about a block away; can walk the beach during low tide. Island Seas Resort is next door and we had full access to all their facilities. But, the service in the outdoor restaraunt was terrible. Had lunch which was good, but wait staff were not friendly and very slow. Went back to have dinner later in the week to give it another try. We got menus, but waited 30 minutes and no one came back to get our order or bring drinks-we left. We booked a fishing trip with them and Tia at the desk was excellent, and the fishing was OK. Pool was cold and the swim up bar was never open that we saw. Food and beer is expensive on the island. Tax and 15% tip are added to most food. A case of beer was $54. The cheapest place we saw was at the Bahamian Brewery. They had everything, including Bud Light for $42 a case. This was worth going to-take the tour! Recommended eating at Sire's-authentic Bahamian food, excellent friendly service at reasonable prices. There is still a lot of hurricane damage on the island and there is garbage everywhere! We weren't sure if this was a result of the hurricane or not. I would recommend staying here, you won't find a nicer place for the price.

Rough start, nice views
The condo is exactly as shown in the pictures, the views of the ocean are awesome. The beach was nice and the people were friendly overall. The island itself is still quite devastated from the effects of the October hurricane. There is debris and downed trees everywhere. I was very frustrated on arrival because I had been given the mailing address but no physical directions to the condo. I had contacted the owners before we left and was told to have the car rental staff mark the condo location on a map for us. I thought that was an odd response but figured they knew more than I. The car rental place just laughed at this and said they had no idea where the condo was located. Luckily Google maps did work so we were able to find it despite the lack of road signs from the hurricane. We got to the condo and the manager was suppose to meet us, but no one was there. We were unable to locate anything marked office or manager. We tried to contact the owners but got no response and I was at a loss about what to do. Finally, a resident pulled into the lot and was kind enough to locate the manager for us. The manager had been waiting for us to call but we were never given her number--what a mess! Once we finally got into the condo it was nice but it's hard to overcome the initial bad impression created by the lack of communication. We have been home 2 days now and my credit card company contacted me. Apparently someone stole my card number while we were there and has been running up charges starting on day 2 of our stay. I suspect this occurred at the bar on the beach right by the condo-- we ate there on the 12th and the fraudulent charges started on the 13th. If you go there pay cash only! The condo owners have no responsibility for this but the location was recommended by the manager when she gave us the keys. I hope this review helps to prepare you for your visit. Thanks!

Hello Joan, I am so sorry you experienced the credit card theft. I have been going to Freeport for years and never had any issues. It is so unfortunate that happened to you. AWESOME CONDO WITH INCREDIABLE VIEWS!
Phil and Paige, Just a note to let you know what a great time we had at your condominium in the Bahama’s. The amenities were even better than shown on your website! The unit was spotless, beautifully decorated, perfect layout (5 in our party and not at all crowded) furnishing are in excellent condition and very comfortable. We especially loved waking up to the picturesque views of palm trees, ocean and sound of the waves each morning (best location ever). Had lots of fun playing in the kayaks, (wonderful bonus to the unit) snorkeling and fishing off the jetty. Best birthday and family reunion ever. Thank you!!!

Loved the accomodations......saddened by conditions on the island
Our unit was terrific. Clean, comfortable, beautiful location. The best beach on the island. The unit had everything! Pool was great; grounds were being worked on post-hurricane and will be nice (again). The island itself is in terrible shape. The property immediately behind the condo looks like a war zone.....pretty scary when you first arrive. First impressions are not good at all. When you climb the stairs (also a little scary) to the unit the first thing you see is a broken blind on the door. Considering the condition of the property, it makes you nervous. But from that point on, first rate. Master bedroom is incredible. Plenty of amenities and extras. There is resort with a restaurant next door. Don't bother. It is in very poor condition, the food is below average and the service is worse. A small outdoor bar on the other side is a much better option (not Bernies). Beach is incredible (when the tide is out). Overall, outstanding condo...but the condition of the island is very, very sad.

The property is lovely and well set up. The owners and property manager have ensured that the condo has everything a family of all sizes and ages would need. You can't beat the location - right on the ocean. The neighbours were friendly and helpful and taxis, take out and local restaurants are all close by.

Relaxing, Entertaining, and Incredibly Wonderful Home Away from Home!!
LOVED LOVED LOVED this wonderful property. It truly was a home away from home with abundant amenities and a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Paige, the owner, was very easy to reach throughout the rental process. She answered all of our questions and even provided a ton of advice and helpful information that made our stay even that much better. We traveled to the island in December of 2016, only a few months after devastating hurricane Matthew hit. Much of the island was affected although the islanders have done everything and anything to get the tourism back up and running. Our trip was not affected at all by the effects of the hurricane with the exception that they were still working on getting the cable and wifi back up and running. It actually worked out in our favor though because it meant much better family interaction and bonding time. The condo had all kinds of things available to us. There were three available blow-up kayaks, snorkel gear with fins, games, a DVD movie collection, books, stunning views, a pool, a resort next door, and material available related to island activities and events. The bedrooms were very comfortable with classy decor and the bathrooms and showers worked incredibly well. We were able to run two showers and the dishwasher at the same time and didn't even notice any temperature changes to the water. When we went to the beach they had beach mats, beach chairs, and towels that we could take as well as two large beach umbrellas. They had everything that we could have possibly needed, with the exception of suntan lotion!! If you visit the Bahamas...bring your own suntan lotion!! The cost of the lotion on the island is incredibly high, especially if you try buying it at the resort next door. We also ate at all three of the recommended restaurants on either side of the condo. They all had their own style and flavor. Our favorite was "Bernies", a little beach shack that sits on the sand. (The condo is an upstairs unit with 4 sets of about 7 stairs each going up-it may not be ideal for someone that is elderly or has a hard time with stairs.) If you are looking for a place to stay we would highly recommend this property. Our family of 5 had a wonderful vacation and made many great memories here. We would definitely stay here again if we decide to return in the future! The property manager on site was also very informative and helpful. If you are looking...this property is a super option!!

Great View, Great Location
We took our family of 6 to stay in Cannes Village. The stay was great and all of our needs were met with what was provided. It was very clean and updated. The owner was very responsive for any requests or challenges. We would recommend this property, and would also recommend renting a car for any extended stay. This was our second trip to Freeport, and you would easily pay more for taxis than it costs to rent a car. The beach to the left is quiet and beautiful with a beach bar and "Bernie's", who cooks fresh fish daily. To the right is Island Seas, which has a nice small beach, pool, and outdoor bar. Port Lucaya is a 5 to 10 minute drive, and grocery store the same. Freeport is pretty slow moving, so if your'e coming for vacation, move slow.

Picture perfect!
The property is absolutely beautiful, the photographs are exactly as it is. We went as a couple and loved the peace and tranquility. The condo has been decorated tastefully to make you feel like it's a home from home and very welcoming. It was very clean with plenty of fluffy white towels, cookware, beach equipment, everything you need to enjoy your stay. We used the hotel next door a couple of times for lunch and as you come on to the beach turn left there's Bernies tiki bar which was a lot of fun, bonfire night is Tuesday and Thursday and there's also a new restaurant being built on the beach. We had never rented before, it has set a bar that will be hard to beat and would definitely recommend this condo to everyone, it was the best ! The owner was quick to respond to any questions and her property manager was brilliant on site help, our thanks go to both of them for our amazing holiday.

Great Family Time
Property was perfect for our family. There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable. View of the beach was spectacular. The resort next door allowed us to use their pool, hot tub & had a tiki bar with activities too which was also outstanding. Highly Recommended.
