'We absolutely loved the room and its set-up! The resort was very quiet but that is what we signed up for after reading the reviews. The food was tasty overall but lacked variety, especially for dinner. Afternoon snacks were kind of pitiful. Wednesday BBQ buffet was our favorite- great flavor and options. Take advantage of the boat ride to green island w Devon. It’s inexpensive and worthwhile just to see the island shortly by boat. When we got to the island we were able to swim w turtles!!...

'It was really special to stay in Nelson’s Dockyard. We stayed in the lofts and it was very relaxing. Only downside is the walls are paper thin (old building, I should have expected this) so bring ear plugs or a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper! Restaurants were great at the hotel and the area is very walkable. There’s a complimentary boat to take you to Galleon Bay, which was a really nice beach.'

'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'

'Don’t be fooled by the classification “Suite”. They’re just standard hotel rooms. So no separate bedroom. Staff varies dramatically from friendly, via uninterested to just rude (especially in body language). Items missing or exchanged without notification from ordered food. And several items on the menu are not available. '

'Food was excellent. Anything you could think of that you needed, they were there immediately to accommodate our requests. The views and private setting was spectacular. Loved, loved, loved it!'
